Some things in this world just won't last
The sands of time is running too fast
That is why we should cherish every past
Show love... Give love... Yes, we must...

We have just lost someone dear to us
But this does not mean we should also pass
Life is a challenge; be strong to surpass
all those tides that amass...

No one wants tears in their awaited departure
so change that look, remove the sadness' auger
Be happy for him who is called by the Father
Finally, he is free, happy, and secured forever...

Now, we entrust him to You, Almighty Father
In the heavens above, receive him with fervor
Thank you for letting us share our lives with him
Until the day that we meet him again in your dwelling place...
