Twas the night of St. Nick, for all girls and boys;
A night of presents, grandma, and all of their joys;
The tree was bound with glitter and lights;
Not a sound could be heard in the peaceful night;
The children asleep in their beds all warm and snug,
As Santa tiptoed quietly across the rug,
He leaves the perfect gift for each of the little ones
And then pauses by the fire to warm his bones;
The cookies and milk are a delightful treat;
But he has to move on as there are more to greet.
Because Chistmas joy is for all to share,
And good boys and girls are everywhere.
