I sit here, watching the dying world, waiting for my true love
For centries, I have waited
Could it be only now that its taking its toll?
I walk these deserted streets, seeing and smelling death
The sickness cannot reach me, but the lonliness can
I find my immortal lover, his hair black as night and eyes blue as day
His smile makes me feel at home as we feed off of this dying world
Could it have been only centries ago that i was cold and alone?
Not anymore, he says, I will never be alone.
I sleep, when the sun decides to show, Hand-in-hand we rest in our coffin
And I am never alone, for my immortal lover is beside me
