I have been chained in the shadows forever locked away from the one i love
but i do not fear the shadows i inbrace them knowing this will now and forever be my home
my heart now reflects my surroundings dark and dead
as a part of the shadows i can move without being seen watching all the creatures of light go about their lives not realizing the it is all meaningless
living for love is pointless love is an illusion
banish love from your life and you will be free to hate all things
when you love someone it ends and you feel pain
but the darkness is always there to inbrace you
so remove the shackles of love and turn to the darkness where all hearts belong.
