Have you ever seen a fish
Swirling through the water
And wanted to catch it
Because it's just that perfect

Have you ever thrown your line
In a desperate atempt
But missed by that little
And watched the fish swim away

Have you ever felt so upset
Ran madly down the shore
All because the fish was so stupid
enough to run away

Have you ever sat down
Let the waves lap your feet
And think to yourself
I'll catch that fish next year

Have you ever caught that fish
Before it wriggled out of reach
Or are you still waiting
To face again the lost catch.
