darkness falls
i leisure walk
the wind caresses my face
my eyes rest
on a silver sky
but i feel a fire
like a tripping high
the cold breeze whispers...
it whispers sweet nothings into my ear
oh, night
i love how you welcome me
i am happy
but the azure sky is jealous
the moon's sky...
a beautiful sight
i dwell on the thoughts of yesternight
i lay at rest
on a silver fleece
an eternal peace
grown men weep
banshees wail
but not in the eyes

- Description: My poetry is often inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe. His dark moods are amazing and I could only hope to express my words as well as he does.

And one more thing, everything is symbolic. For example.
an eternal peace = sleep
silver sky = starry sky
azure sky = the blue sky of day time - Report As Spam

- This is poetry, not a story... I think I expressed why enough. I love the night. And I'm not walking with anyone, what would make you think I was walking with someone?

- Ok, it's creepy and it rhymes, BUT IT MAKES NO SENSE! Most of the sentences by themselves don't make sense much less melded together randomly. Edgar Allan Poe tells stories, as well as being dark and rhyming. The first part is a good start but then you have to say where your walking why your walking, who your walking with, what you see>? 3/5
