pain is what lets me know i am real,
pain is a thing only live people feel,
pain can seperate life and death,
pain can be caused by a single faint breath.

pain is what lets me know im alive,
pain is what comes out of being deprived,
pain can kill, kill on the inside,
pain can be reasons why good people die.

in the end we all feel pain,
pain can be caused by so many ways,
we feel pain in the morning we feel it at night,
pain hurts us, kills us, keeps us from life.

pain repeats and pain defeats,
pain is the monster under my sheets,
pain is what lets me know i am real,
pain is a thing only live people feel.
