• A river calm and steady
    Flows freely in June
    Healthy from the seasons change
Its waters sparkle in the midday sun

    Come August or September
Constrained to its banks the river withers
Not a drop of rain all summer

What says the river to the rain
    Each dry and dusty day
    The lands thirst for change
    Come join us brothers
And together we carve a new path

With both life and death comes change
    A monsoon or a sprinkle
    But just like the river
    Without new blood
So too will the cause wither
