I'm sorry to say
I have but one
Present for you
This Christmas day.

Its not "I love you"
Its not in a box
Its not an old shoe
I found by those rocks

Its something smaller
and more sincere
a poem I wrote
just for you to hear

I hope you like it
and think its neat
it took me forever
writing under my sheets.
