The Hunt for True Love

Love is not lost if you cannot find it.
It's not the end of the world if you and your girlfriend do not get along anymore.

Your warm heart overfills with joy when she says, "I love you".
Then your happy soul turns dark and cold when she doesn't want you anymore.
You think you'll never find anyone else as cute and as smart as her.

When it's over, it's over.
She probably didn't even want you from day one.
Maybe she just used you?
You'll probably never find out.
You will cry yourself to sleep the day she says, "It's over".

You blame yourself for everything that happened between you two, but none of it is your fault.
But know this, she lost the most wonderful guy there is.

She doesn't deserve you.
You will find a girl who cares and loves you, just the way you are.

Now just keep searching for your true love,
And you will have eternal happiness.

none of my poems rhyme. this was mostly free thought. this was also my very first poem i have ever written so cut me some slack please.

I am confused as to what type of poem it's supposed to be.. It's rather plain for free verse, and it does not rhyme.. Also, it takes two to tango. It's not all the girls, or the guys fault.. that sort of throws off the balance of it. But all in all.. it's a kind message. 3/5 <3
