• Sometimes I feel I’m going nowhere fast
As if somewhere down the river of time, I lost my way
The current now crashing, slamming, breaking me
Against events forth wrought and recurring nightmares
Like a wolf in the forest, it lurked
First sight my thoughts saw it as a cloud of puff
Not knowing the lightning that was awaiting the moment
The moment to strike, and strike hard it did
To wake up on an island I viewed my reaper, once again
An endless amount of clouds transformed, both mystifying and brutal
Selfish they were, to the point of engulfing my safe haven
Drowning it back into the ocean
The light now dims, my life fading to darkness
Soon after, I see her; a beautiful angel
Unto me she bestows a kiss, as though I am hers and hers only
Then I realize…this must be heaven.
