I need you to live,
I need you to stand,
I need you so my life
doesn't sink in the sand.
You turned your back,
Left me by myself,
You stopped me in my tracks,
Leaving me on a shelf.

You and I were one,
There was no divide,
But you threw me into the sun,
When you deserted my side.
But now you have strayed
I have become blind,
I have been betrayed,
By only my mind.
