When we met for the first time

• Description: This poem is for my best friend Simon.
  As with "Friend" is to express it
  as it was for me when we met.
  
  And here are just words-pair for my best friend:
  Whenever I think of how we met,
  I secretly think that this day was the happiest day in my life.
  And I do not have to think how it would be now if we had never met.
  In other words: You're my best friend and although I believe otherwise not in fate and all that stuff, I think that our meeting time was a sign of fate.

I still remember the day we met for the first time.
There was a light it shined so bright.
From the first look into your eyes.
I was young and you were too.
We shook hands and became friends.
And then i knew we belong together forever.
Because the one thing i know for sure.
And i swear i won´t doubt no more.
Is you and me its destiny.
