You are my Savior from my inner dark.
You make my inner dogs of war lose their bark.
You are my sunshine at the end of a rainy day.
You hold my demons at bay.

You help me so much and yet you don't even know.
That every time I have to leave you, I don't want to go.
Everything you do makes me feel so glad.
And you cured me of my emptiness that made me so sad.

You make me believe again in that four letter word.
That word that rhymes with a certain type of bird.
You also make me acknowledge everything I ever feel.
Truth be told that kind of scares me because that makes it real.

You do all these things that help me, but what about you?
Whatever you need, just tell me what to do.
I swear to do all that I can.
I will use every single resource at my command.
