I guess its moments like these that will make or break me.
Do I cave and crumble for the thousandth time?
I’ve just managed to salvage
My bruised and mangled self
Out of the rubble.
God.
This is my plea.
You are the great romancer.
So let your lullaby be the only one
That I ever long to hear.
Please
Silence the skeletons that serenade me.
They circle round me in the dark.
Menacing vultures.
They n** and tear at my flesh.
And spew the my own blood into my face,
Sneering and scornful.
Don’t let them make my ears bleed anymore.
My body let them have.
If I can just hear Your song,
Then I can die in a crimson pool
That they lap up with relish
Smiling sweetly.
It is Your melody
That lets me bear all
As I live feeling like I am dying
Over and over again
It's all for You

- Title: Sweet Nothing& Dear Oblivion
- Artist: Dirty Little Soul
- Description: `This poem describes what I thought and felt as a Catholic seduced then tormented by despair. It is an entity, all of it's own, roaming about the Earth seeking the desecration of all human hope.
