• Gum drops, Chocolate bars, candy galore,
    witches, bats, and creaking doors.
Children roam from house to house,
they're backs full right to the brim.
Ghouls creep in the shadows quiet as a mouse,
they're growls and grunts sounding quite grimm.
At the end of the hunt, children crawl into bed,
time to shine for those of the dead.
    Nightmares fill they're little brains,
    screaming, crying, going insane.
What seems impossible flares into life,
disembodied voices and spine tingling screams of tragedy and strife.
A night of horrors, All Hallows Eve,
you'll be so scared you could hardly breathe!!
Don't look behind you and don't slow your pace,
they'll certainly get you, can you feel your heart race?
So heed my warning, children of the night,
unless you want your Halloween to be filled with fright.
