• The snow falls quietly,
I sit in my chair by my window,
Gazing out to the caroling women and men,
I see the men bundled up tight,
    Escaping the cold,
I see the women with their joyful smiles,
Their rosey red cheeks nipped by the chill of the snow,
It makes me smile, hearing the voices of the ark angels,
Their eye sparkling from the dazzling lights hung all around.

The children out playing in the white soft dust,
I see the old man and woman across the street hanging the mistletoe and sneaking a kiss,
They look so youthful during the joy of the season's bliss.

How I wish to know how the holidays bring such joy to everyone
