• They fall down slowly sometimes,
    other times fast.
giving off a sense of sorrow.
    you can't stop them.
    they slip through your defenses,
and destroy the mask of happiness you wear.
    everyone sees them,
    everyone hears your sobs,
everyone wonders why they pour down your face.
you wonder too, but then remember.
you remember the sad day when you were told,
you remember the moment of shock,
you remember telling your close friends,
you also remember putting on this mask that just melted.
    now it all came down,
    the worries,
    the fear,
    the guilt,
    the anger,
    the confusion,
    and the tears.
