• His finger tips are at her lips,
as they cry their final cries.
Though he loved her well, she could tell
was but bitter riddles and rancid lies.
He took a ring and on one knee,
he asked her to be wed.
    She obliged before giddily
    Taking another man to bed.
    She was just too beautiful
for her body not to share.
Other men had had her then,
and it all seemed so unfair.
His breath caressed her skin so nicely,
as his hands wrapped round her neck.
He smiled and said "I love you darling"
as she took her final breath.
He smiled so wide, his face so wet,
her eyes they cried and plead.
His tears they fell on her blue cheeks,
before she, his love was dead.
They say a man kills the thing they love,
The coward with a kiss, brave men with a sword.
She lay slain in his arms,
    his forever more.
