• The boy with dreams the size of planets, and willingness to share
Is making one more tale so wayward in order to prepare.
He knows the world is unforgiving and no one has a thought
to help out in a time of sorrow for things we have forgot.

Tales of heroes hope and progress, in all of humanity,
of bringing all the world together in such a fantasy.
The boy knows that reality can bring a man to tears,
and living in a fictional bliss would ease the worst of fears.

The coldest of epiphanies is that the time will come,
when everything man thinks is sacred will become undone.
    The boy creates these tales of valor to comfort those in need;
Those who have nowhere to turn for love and sympathy.

Then the dreaming boy grew up and no one could rejoice.
He lived on through his stories, knowing he once had a voice.
Finally those escapades refused to heal the burns.
The scars left by reality would take the final turn.

Tales of sadness, loathing sorrow, and freedom's cruel demise
mark the look of horror and confusion that he'd never recognized.
The broken man lost all of his love to the bitterness of fate.
He never stood a chance against time and what it takes.

The now sickly man is fully shattered, so he looks unto his son.
He hopes the cycle the he endured stops at only one.
