• A see-through black box topped with a white box,
two rectangles touch the sides of the boxes and touch me,
another rectangle separating us a few feet away,
even from a distance that shadowy box is something I don't want to see,

I still continue to stare through it expecting to see something not black,
Thinking a see something different I begin to take a few steps back,
But it was nothing and I don't know why there'd be something more,
This pleasure is my mind trying to force open an imaginary door,

    Gravity moves as I step,
    Walking anywhere pulls me down,
If I trip I could be sucked down into the box,
so I try to stay put and not go around,

I put my two legs on the rectangle to the right that's touching the box,
Without proper gravity I'm too scared to put my feet on the top to escape,
so I step down to where I was before getting nowhere but to square one,
It's a nonexistent fate but I'm scared to go through a place where I just see no one.
