We’re happy to announce the site-wide launch of what we’ve been referring to as the Reverse Marketplace!
First, what is the Reverse Marketplace?
It is a new extension of the existing Marketplace that allows you to create offers for items!
Where can I create an offer for an item I want to buy?
From an item’s page in the Marketplace or when previewing an item in one of the shops!
For example, if you’re looking for a GCash Giftcard 2500GC, you can visit its page in the Marketplace here and click
to start creating your offer!
From there, you will take the following steps:
If an item is in one of the shops, you can also create an offer from its Item Preview by clicking and following the same steps, as seen here on the Winged Crafting Chest Bundle.
Which currencies can I use when creating an offer?
You can only offer Gold/Platinum for items at this time. You cannot use Gaia Cash to create offers and this feature does not currently support item trades.
What should I consider when deciding how much to offer?
Your offers should reflect what you're willing to pay for an item. There is not a way to negotiate on the price and offers are anonymous, so no one will know to contact you to discuss your interest in an Angelic Halo because of your 1 Platinum offer.
Gaians are more likely to accept offers that they consider fair. Items that haven't been sold through the Marketplace for a long time may no longer have an Average Buy Price that reflects its value today. What may have been fair in 2015 when the item was first released and much more available may be severely undervaluing the item today.
Where do I go to see offers I’ve made?
You can view your offers here!
You can find this page under the Marketplace drop-down, and as a link in your Marketplace store. You will also have the option to navigate to this page every time you create a new offer.
How do I cancel an offer?
This is also on the "My Offers" page! Click the "Cancel" button next to any offer you no longer want to make!
Where do I go to find records of my offers that were accepted or that I fulfilled?
You can view your offers that have been accepted, or offers accepted by you, in your Store Log, which can be found in your Marketplace store.
How many offers can I make?
Like your Marketplace store listings, you are limited to having 50 offers at a time. If you wish to make more offers, you can wait for existing offers to be accepted or expire, or you can cancel them. Gaians with an active Perks Subscription can create unlimited offers.
Why can't I offer on Kins (Kin eggs)?
We have disabled offering on Kin eggs until Gaians can better optimize offers for Kins, including requesting a specific level and radiance (lunar or solar). We want your offers to be fulfilled with a Kin you'll be happy with!
Why can't I offer on Game Items?
Game items function differently than others and, like with Kin eggs, offer creation must be different for these as a result. This is on our list for a future update!
How do I know if an item currently has offers for it?
In the shops, you can see how many current offers an item has in its Item Preview. Items with 0 offers will show as “See Offers (0).” You can click on the “See Offers” button to take you to the Offers tab in the item’s Marketplace page:
Similarly, you can check for offers under the "Offers" tab on an item's Marketplace page, such as if you're an Angel Supporter looking to sell your monthly Sealed Angel Item:
Where can I see a list of all active offers?
Use the drop-down under Marketplace and select the "All Offers" link. It will take you to this page:

Items that you own and can fulfill an offer with will have green text to the right of the listing showing how many copies you currently have. You can narrow down the list to just items you own by checking the box for "Show offers with owned items" and clicking the "Go" button.
Or, by selecting "Show offers for items in Cash Shops," you can see offers just for items that are currently in La Victoire, Cloud 9, Rococo, Mecha Neko, as well as current flairs or items for direct sale. If you're looking for a quick way to get Platinum, this is a great way to check for offers that give you the best return!
Why can’t I see who made an offer I want to accept? Why can’t I see who accepted my offer?
This is by design! We want to offer an experience where people can focus on exchanging items for Gold/Platinum without external factors such as who created the offer or who accepted it. Gaians have expressed concern about ignored users buying their items in the existing Marketplace, specifically that the buyer was doing this to force an interaction. We kept this in mind when creating the Reverse Marketplace so it can't be used as an instrument of harassment. If you're open to haggling with people who have the item you want, you can still use the Wanted forum to make your offer!
How do I turn PMs and Notifications on/off for the Reverse Marketplace?
You can update notifications for the Marketplace here:

Check “Market Listing Sold” to enable notifications for the regular Marketplace.
Check “Reverse Market Offer Accepted” to enable notifications for the Reverse Marketplace.
Click the “Save All Changes” button.
PMs use the same setting as the regular Marketplace. If you want to receive PM updates for your offers, you can update those by clicking “Edit Store” in your Marketplace store:

Uncheck “Block all Marketplace Notification PMs” and click the “Save” button.
No one's accepting my offer, what gives?
Some items that you may want to offer on, including older items from sponsorships, new user-created Flairs, and other limited-release items, may have a temporary or permanent limited availability. The other issue you may run into is your offer being too low. The amount you're willing to pay for an item may not be acceptable to the person looking for the right price to part with it!
I've encountered a bug or I have suggestions for the Reverse Marketplace, where can I share this?
We have a thread in Site Feedback for this exact purpose! Please review the first post for known bugs/issues before posting as we may already know about the thing you want to bring to our attention.

- Set a duration for up to 14 days before your offer expires and your Gold/Platinum returns to your account.
- Verify that your offer is going out as intended by entering your password.
- Submit your offer by clicking "Confirm"!
