Month 2025 Angel Item Avi Challenge


    about this/why this challenge
    hello! I wanted to start hosting these since angel items often feel
    a bit niche in style, or it doesn't feel usable for different styles/fashions
    and I wanted to encourage people to try challenging that mindset.
    (if anyone wants/is hosting a contest version of this, lmk!)


this month's angel item:

go ahead and post any (dream/builder) avis using the item, but!
out of the box this item seems to fit [gender neutral, soft, clowncore], so here are some
optional item/pose specific challenges:
  • use the leg mods and make an astronaut avi
  • vintage clown doll with the floppy, plush bodies and a plastic/porcelain head. (credit: Vro)
  • style the shirt/armmod in streetwear fashion
  • an alien with the hats pose
  • use the mask and make an owl!

      is there anything you want to see people do/attempt?
    - the top with konpeito (candy, not the color scheme) items; not sure how much those exist on gaia though (bloodwitch)
    - for porcelain doll, soft body additional challenges:
    tab - Noh Drama mask as the face (bloodwitch)
    tab - Super Brawler Bash's giant hand pose (bloodwitch)

          to grab the link to an avatar that has been saved to a favorites collection:

              1. select the avatar and click on it—this will bring up a modal window

              2. go down to the 'share' link section and click; make sure your cursor is on the line

              3. right click + click "select all"

              4. right click again + copy or (on windows) ctrl+c

          to grab the image itself:
              1. simply right click on the image + select "copy link address"

Thanks, these are my favorite kind of avis to do. Except I usually never use masks, tho this one is too cute not to!

I saw the mask and knew immediately i had to make something creepy with it. I mean, just look at it.
it's a summoning ritual. I'll leave it up to you if this creature is benevolent, cruel, or apathetic to the people who summoned it.
probably best to view it in light mode as the stuff it's wearing blends in due to the invisibility cloak.

oooo, the legs on the first one reminded me that the berrybun legs exist. I have to see if I like that better that what I currently have for my WIP using the top. ty for inadvertent inspo!

love that you also didn't really rely too much on "blatant" space /astronaut items to pull that together. much skill. big talent.

is the last one an owl lady? ( I can't tell if the mask just reminds me of an owl face and thus am biased, or if other people see that too)

a person with witch in their name biased toward fantasy avis? *gasp* who'd have thunk it!

but no, I'm actually really proud of these two. I didn't think I'd be as proud of them as I am.

theyre actually the digi daemon legs! they're my go to for human base furries

and yea! i had the sudden idea to do an owl when i was looking at the mask, was gonna try to do something like the first avi and go full furry but was kinda lacking the items so i just slapped on things and went in that direction
