300 years after the Eclipse events, the sins of Edolas re-emerged. A land without magic, struggling to reform, there had to be another way--a way to restore magic, or borrow it... There had to be a way.
Secretly, several practices took hold; each one had its own methods and agenda. One, used children as their test subjects. Perhaps the key to the one magic lay in an innocent heart. Hundreds of children were taken and experimented on. Out of it, only 13 survived to what was called The Rapture; an event that happened while the children were in mid experiment--trying to steal magic from one dimension to bring into their own--when the very fabric of space itself ripped, stealing away the children and leaving a wound in time. The children were then separated, left alone in a new world without even the smallest memory of themselves or their past.
As time passed, each one tried to find their place in the world, completely unaware of their terrible power slumbering within them. Sins and Repentance; heavenly judgement would decide the part they play in the games of fate. All unaware, until they committed to darkness and faith. All unaware of what hunts them once they unlocked that power.
And, like the 13, all of Fiore was unaware of the war for power about to happen in their midst. New heroes will rise, and a tale begins.
