Long ago, the new creation of Human was brought forth to the land. They flourished in terms, thriving on nature's gifts and growing in number and strength. Many creature became interested in these Humans, watching them as they made their own homes, clothing and tongue. Curiously they watched on, as the Humans forged their own unions with one another and were at peace among nature's first creations. They weren't very different to some of the Animals, sharing similar body structure to some, while having the nature of others. The Animals helped the Humans in many ways, She watching over them carefully. The Animals were in full belief of Humans never being able to do harm, and they remained open to their ideas for centuries. Yet, She saw darkness in the Humans hearts.
Nature helped Humans under her own caution. Helping them when she saw fit, but still reminding them she can be their demise. The Animals grew confused, as the certain humans began to become resentful to their aid. She warned her children that the Humans are growing further from her, and in turn them. In return, She requested the Animals to stay on guard when interaction occurred. For the Animals, it was rather hard. They had never had to protect themselves from these creatures before. Slowly, the warning was lifted from their minds as Humans reassured nothing would change.
As man grew, they became more pushing on their Animals friends. Demanding more, and claiming they weren't required to give equal in return. The Animals gathered around their Mother Willow, Mother Nature's first tree, and would consult with Her on what they should do. Again, She explained to them to be on guard and defend themselves, but alas, they didn't know how or why. Humans became more devious, and their trickery became stronger.
Humans began spreading, and take the homeland She gave to her Animals for their own. They crafted weapons from Her veins and began to attack the Animals for their goods as much as for fun. The Animals were defenseless against the new thought Humans had about them. They fled from their homes, and few escaped to the forest thickets. Humans continued their push as She had to watch, horrified. In her last attempt to protect her children, she rose from the ground mighty mountains that enclosed the forest. They were so high, they clawed into the clouds and into her mighty kingdom. Humans, countless times, braved the mountain only to meet their fate with Her purest wrath. Fearing the worst, the humans continued with their lives learning new skills and secrets of Her offerings while taking to the other Animals and continuing their trend. Nature protected those who escaped, Animals and Human followers, and helped them regain themselves.
Seeing the new threat, She know their had to be a change. Humans had created their warriors out of greed and spite, so she created her own. She blessed her children with new skills and abilities. Teaching them new ways of life, and guiding them on a new path. Over time they learned Magic, and new ways to use Her gifts in ways of medicine and protection. Generations went on as they forged their own weapons, while becoming in tune with their blessed ones from Her. Many centuries passed, and her children slowly began to forget about the Humans. Tribes broke off and lived among their own will, and in new locations learning what it has to offer in it's own special ways. Nature was calmed at the thought that they were now safe, and could defend themselves.
Particular families grew above the rest, but giving to all what they knew. Everyone was as one in their eyes, and large spares between them never broke out. Nature was pleased to see even after all they had been through, they still believed in peace. In turn, she selected a family line. One single family was taught the most powerful skill of all, Foresight. The selected family remained unspoken to for many moons as Nature helped them with their new power. She explained to them the limitations, and the reasoning for Her to grant them such a blessing. The family gave an oath, to use this ability for the good of all, and to never use it for self desire. Nature was assured it was in great hands, and she was not let down. Taking the name under Her, Xingzhi, the family used their foresight to help Animals in many ways.
All the Animals graced the new power given to the chosen, and granted the family as their Alphas. The Xingzhi rules over the valley in open arms, and uses their gift carefully. They new the rest of their fellow Animals were blind to the threat outside the mountains. To them, they were but a myth now to scare small pups who were misbehaving... But they learned of what happened to their great ancestors long ago. As part of their oath, they taking the information they are given to help grow, and keep all Animals safe from Humans...
