OtherKin United is a guild for all Otherkin to meet, hang out, talk, ask for advice, share their wisdom and just be themselves without being stereotyped. This guild is for real life Otherkin, if you are an Otherkin rper please find another place to go.

For those who do not know Otherkin are basically everything From Vampires to Shapeshifters, Witches to Alchemists, Druids to Psychics and beyond. Non-otherkin are accepted but please include why you want to join as well as if you know any Otherkin.

Please follow all of the standard gaia rules, ToS as well as our own rules. If you break any of these rules you will be warned and possibly exiled.

Rules of the guild

I) First and foremost, respect everyone, especially the elders. You may have different opinions on certain things and that's okay. Discussion, and debating is encouraged but keep it civil. If an elder sees any flaming please report it directly to me and I will handle the situation. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but you may not flame someone for expressing them.

II) Spamming is not allowed. Do not dare to spam in our forums or you will be exiled, no if's and's or buts. If you are looking to make some quick gold please check out one of the popular spam guilds. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against spamming, but I want this guild to have topics for help one another, share wisdom and insight, not have people poll whoring for gold.

III) Role Playing... This is a big problem around gaia. People role play Otherkin rather commonly and unfortunately, very incorrectly. We don't need people role playing us with common stereotypes as it is very frustrating and annoying. Role Playing will be allowed, but only in specific forums. Any rping outside of them will be deleted, no exceptions.

IV) Keep your mind open and always be willing to learn. Never shun those around you, for this guild is exactly as it's name implies; OtherKin United. Think of this as a large family, a family that actually understands you. If you can keep yourself open you will be accepted openly.

V) Keep the forums clean and organized. First off, there will be many different subforums each dedicated to a certain race or specialty. Post appropriate topics in each area, for instance, do not post something for necromancers within the druid forums. Any posts done as such will be either moved or deleted and you will be notified and possibly punished.

VI) As mentioned above there will be seperate subforums dedicated to a certain topic. There will be watchers of each topic who will manage and handle most business in that thread. Listen to them and respect them. Do not dare to impersonate one of your superiors or you will be exiled, no questions asked.

VII) If by chance you happen to break some rules you will receive some sort of punishment. First and lightest is a verbal warning and a fine which must be sent to the guild treasury. If it is not paid further action will be taken. Second is a fine of a certain amount of gold which must be sent to the guild treasury and a decrease in status. Many of the subforums can only be accessed by higher status holders, so this can limit what forums you may be allowed to go in. Third and harshest is exile from the guild. Understand that exile is a very severe punishment. I do not intend, nor do I ever want to exile anyone. Simply put, don't give me a reason to.

VIII) Read the rules. When applying to the guild make sure you include the statement "I want to become a member of the OKU and become part of the family" to insure that you have read the rules.

If you can abide by our rules then welcome to the family!
