Hey all!

This is the thread for our very first guild RP. If you want to participate, you'll need a character. Use the dice-rolling thread in this sub-forum to roll your stats, hit points, and gold. Use those numbers to create your character, and post it here for approval before you start playing.

Characters:
Create your characters at level three. Use only the classes in the Player's Handbook. Max hit points at level one, average hit points at levels two and three, average starting gold for your class at level three. Choose your race from any of the following:

Dwarf (Gold-in FRCS, Shield-same as in PHB, or Wild-in FRCS)
Elf (Sun-in FRCS, Moon-same as in PHB, Wood-in FRCS, or Wild-in FRCS)
Gnome (Rock-same as in PHB)
Half-elves (sun, moon, wood, wild - all the same as in PHB)
Half-Orcs-same as in PHB
Halflings (Lightfoot-same as in PHB, Strongheart-in FRCS)

If it is not on the list, you cannot play it. No exceptions.

Any feat from the setting-neutral books or the Forgotten Realms books is allowed, but any feat listed as regional must be taken at level one. Also, you must list your source. Same is true of spells.

You may play any alignment on the the Chaotic-Lawful axis, but you may only play good or neutral on the Good-Evil axis. Evil characters are disallowed.

Here is a digital character sheet that you can use. If you do not have either the Player's Handbook or the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting, drop me a PM and we'll get you the info you need to make your character.

A detailed back story is not required, but the more information you provide the more fun we can all have. 4 or 5 sentences at least would be a good idea. If your back story is something you want to keep private, you can PM me with it instead.

Starting Setting
We will be beginning the campaign in the city of Waterdeep at the Inn of the Dripping Dagger on Ches 15, 1373 DR. Your character can be from any region on Faerun, but please build into your back story a reason your character is in Waterdeep.

Okay here's the thing...

I have never created a character on my own before...and I can't download the digital forgotten realms character sheet at the moment, as I am not using my personal computer ...

I have an ordinary dungeons and dragons digital character sheet ... and I think one forgotten realms book that explains ... kinda the basics ...

The two character concepts I had in mind was either a elven bard or a half-orc rogue ...

lol, the only real difference is that there are a couple of extra subraces like sun elves and stronghearts, but the biggest difference are the regional feats and stuff.

You don't have to take any regional feats. But they do offer more options at first level which can add some interesting flavor to the character. If you do want one, though, you need to take it as your character's first level feat.
