~Route 101~

[Aoi Twizted Ragnarok]

North of Littleroot town lies route 101. A small route connecting Littleroot town and Oldale Town. Wild pokemon can be found here.

D enters Route 101, carefully watching the grass for moving Pokemon. Once he reaches near the end, he finally finds a few Pokemon running about in the grass at the entrance.

D encounters a Poochyena, as he instantly sends out Treecko. Although being together for such a short time, they seemed to have been so synchronized already. "Leer, then follow up with Pound twice," D had said softly, as Treecko followed instructions. The Poochyena had used Howl twice, but Treecko made it faint before it could launch his attack. It had seemed that both Treecko and D wanted to find the Zigzagoon that had chased Professor Birch earlier, as they continued the search.

D continues to search for the Zigzagoon, while he can see Oldale Town from right where he was standing.

D came upon a Wurmple this time, as Treecko emerged from the Pokeball once more. "Tackle twice," D said in the same tone, as the Wurmple had also used one Tackle, until the Wurmple fainted after Treecko's second attack. D noticed that Treecko had learned Absorb, as he brought Treecko back into his Pokeball.

D decided to try to find the Zigzagoon once more before going into Oldale Town for a short rest.

D sent out his Treecko to face off against another Wurmple. "Leer, then Tackle," D had commanded, but this time it seemed as if it was going to play along a bit with the Pokemon without going right into Tackle. Treecko used his Leer, and Wurmple performed a weaker Tackle when compared to the previous Wurmple they had battled, as Treecko easily defeated the weakened Wurmple with Tackle. D then decided to go into Oldale Town right after the battle, as it seemed that the Zigzagoon had left the area from a small set of footprints he had found, in a zigzagged pattern he had been following.

Once D had returned from his visit to Oldale Town, he knew that he had to train his Pokemon much more if he wanted to be able to compete with Pokemon Trainers from all of the Regions, as he searched once again for a few more Pokemon to battle.

D had found a Wurmple once again, and Treecko had known exactly what to do. As Treecko used Tackle, and the Wurmple used Tackle like the two before it, D noted of how it was not as strong as the first, but stronger than the second. Treecko used Tackle once more, causing the Wurmple to faint.

Once again D was back to searching for a Pokemon in the grass. He inspected a peculiar patch of grass, as a Pokemon jumped out.

D saw a Zigzagoon, but noticed that it looked different from the one he had seen before, and knowing of it leaving the area, he simply allowed Treecko to defeat with one single Tackle.

XP = 50/80

D looked around, trying to see if there were any dropped items to no avail, as the grass started to shake once again. Readily, he brought out Treecko to face the wild Pokemon.

Treecko had instantly used Tackle once he was sent out of his Pokeball, giving the Wurmple not time to even think. Once the attack had hit, Wurmple had used Tackle too, but fainted right when Treecko had made contact with the Pokemon once again, as Treecko had speedily countered with a Tackle of his own.

XP = 0/90

D decided to look once more for another Pokemon to battle before he took a little break, exploring the route a bit more.

D had seemed to notice that this Wurmple was the same one he had battled the last time, and Treecko performed his Tackle on the Wurmple. The Tackle was much more stronger than before, being able to take out the wild Wurmple in one hit, causing it to faint instantly. D then decided to go forward in his adventure, going into Oldale Town once more.
