I've just found out that a 17 year old girl is in danger from her own parents. she was born to a Muslim family but she has recently become a beleiver in Jesus Christ. When her father found out, he tried to kill her and so she ran away. today she is going to stand before a judge who will decide whether or not to send her back to her family, where who knows what will happen to her? I'm asking everyone to pray for her even if you don't beleive in God or Jesus just pray. There is power in aggreement. So please pray for this girl

Wow, thats huge. I will definately pray for her.

I also have a prayer request. A 10-year old girl at my cousin's church was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and has been given 6 weeks to live. I know miracles happen when people pray and this little girl needs a miracle.

I agree Scarlet, there is no expiration date on us that doctors can see; only God.

Another few prayer requests I'd like to add in here are:

1. Friend from work who's 40(?) year old son was hit by an unknown driver. Her son was riding a bicycle as he had just been laid off by his job and the bike was the only way to get to and from his new job. He's already had plates and rods inserted in both hands and he's had knee surgery. They need financial prayer.

2. My 16 year old niece has an ovarian cycst that we are hoping will shrink with medication and that surgery won't be needed.

I have a prayer request.

I have been suffering from a depression, and have found that many prayers really helps with such a thing.

I've also been having insomnia.

Please pray that I will see the brighter things, even if this depression sticks around a little longer. Also, please pray that I get sleep, and that it's restful.

Autie Lady

Pray please.

My friend's toddler has eye cancer. She was undergoing experimental chemo to try to destroy the cancer in her eye while saving the eye. It was risky, because if it failed there's a high chance the cancer would spread; it's very aggressive.

Well, just a little while ago I got an e-mail from my friend. The treatment failed today. There is no chance of them trying again; they are removing the eye in hopes of stopping the cancer.

...my heart goes out to your friend who has cancer. I can't imagine having to lose an eye. I am so sorry the procedure failed. I will pray that the cancer goes no further and that the opperation to remove the eye goes well.


I have a prayer request of my own now. My husband of a month is having trouble finding a job. He searches and searches, but gets nothing. As such, we are out of money and are now going hungry. Please pray that somehow we find food or money for food. Please pray that my husband gets a job soon and that his spirits raise. It breaks my heart to see him feel like a failure. My dad had surgery on his 70% torn rotator cuff on Friday, and he's got to wear a bandage and a sling for 8-10 weeks.

I also have a football game tomorrow.

I don't want a divorce, just for Him to realize he has a problem and deal with it. But If I should go ahead with the divorce just for my 14 year old sake. I am praying to God on this subject. Never give up on your husband Angel. God has put you with him for a purpose, just let him know that he is loved and pray that God opens his eyes. With God all things are possible.

UPDATE

I've gotten a lot more sleep lately, and my depression seems to be more mild. Please continue to keep me in your prayers in regard to the depression. Praise God that I have gotten sleep, and that my depression is less than 'twas before! He is holy!

Also, please pray that I will not give up on my non-believing friends. I feel a need to cut off contact with them, but I don't want to. Please pray that I will continue to have God's strength in my ministering to them. Thank you.

I have a couple of request.

I have a friend who is going through bipolar issues. She has just become comfortable with telling her best friends that she goes to counseling.
Lately she hasn't been waking up with her alarm and this causes her to get into trouble with the school and with her Parole Officer.
Right now I just like to ask if we could pray for her to know that her friends are their for her, and for her to wake up to her alarm.

Just asking for some prayer.
My worship team leader and I are both in school right now and we're having some major schedual conflicts. It doesn't help that she had a car accident earlier this year and has to find a way to and from school.
We both have faith that God will make a way, but we can't see how or when.

We're just asking for prayer for this conflict to be resolved. Pray for her too, since her schedual is busier she needs to decide if she needs to drop a class or drop the team.

I want to ask everyone to pray for my mom.

I move to Utah from Kentucky to be with her because her weight has begun affecting her health. I'm trying so hard to get her to eat healther so the weight can come off and she can be healthy again.. I worry about her so much. (and the fact that I have been here 3 weeks and I don't have a job yet.) I just wish that she had the motivation to loose weight. I don't want to loose her.. Not to this problem.

Melina, I just want to encourage you and suggest that you pray for your mom to find somebody to lose weight with. I am overwieght myself, 260 lbs. at 30, and I have been trying to lose weight for the last 3 years, and I'll tell you motivation is one thing, but it's almost impossible without somebody there to encourage you. There are groups she can join, but it would be nice if it was a friend.

The best thing for now it to encourage her to eat right, moderate your proportions, and get some kind of exercise daily. You would be amazed at the results you can get if you severly cut back your soda intake, or start eating small meals several time a day. And remember it's not dieting it's making a lifestyle change for the better.
