Alleyways

[Six_Realms_of_Pain]

Death City has a large number of alleyways, all of which are covered with graffiti and strange-looking posters. In the series, the alleyways are often used as a scene for dark and disturbing scenes. Medusa's confrontation with Eruka and the oldest Mizune sister in the alleyways, and also possesses Rachel Boyd in an alleyway as well. She also communicates to Crona in this location. An alley is also where Justin kills Joe Buttataki.

Frost was in one of the alleys, walking with one hand touching the wall. As she walked, her hand made a trail of ice. She walked inside a building, and walked out about 15 minutes later, cleaning her fingers of the red liquid that wasn't there when she entered.

In a different alley, Fate, with his mask on, lifted his hand in front of him. In it was a small realistic crow puppet. Okay my little friend, it's time to see if there is anyone here that will be of use to me, he thought before throwing the puppet into the air. It immediatly came to life and began flying toward DWMA.
Fate sat down on a nearby trash can, holding a faintly glowing hand over one of the masks eyeholes. He used his magic to see whatever his puppet saw in one eye, while the other kept a look out for any unwanted witnesses.

Fate shivers slightly as he feels like he is being watched. He glances around quickly to find the source of this feeling while maintaining his link to his puppet.

When his puppet crow finally got back to him, Fate tucked it away and walked further into the shadows of the alleys.

Nel walked down the alleyways, looking around. "Wow," She whispered. "This place is so odd. Shouldn't have taken that stupid shortcut. Now where am I?" She whimpered. "Oh, I think I left my stove on! I hope the house doesn't burn-"

She paused, shifting quickly. Something about the quiet of it all didn't sit with her. She gave a small whimper again and changed into a white tiger, dashing down the alley.

A few minutes later she found the source of her discomfort. A meister and his weapon standing at the end of the way.

"A witch?" The meister whispered. "Just our luck. We were looking to find one."

Nel growled, turning tail and dashing away. "I'm screwed! I'm screwed! I'm screwed!" She thought quickly.

Cody saw a White tiger and knew that it wasn't normal. He remembered that Nel said that she could turn into an animal so he guessed that it was her. He ran over to her, "Whats going on Nel?!" He said wondering why she was running around as a tiger.

"They're gonna eat my soul!" Nel shouted, stopping and turning back into her human form. She pointed at the two following her.

Cody walked over and looked down the Alleyway, seeing the weapon and meister, "Just stay behind me and they won't do anything to hurt you..." He said looking over his shoulder at her before looking back down at the other to guys.

Nel nodded and took a deep breathe, trying to calm down.

The two stopped, glaring at Cody. "So, what do we have here? You're a meister, right? Why are you protecting this witch?"

The weapon gave a laugh. "Hey, maybe he's trying to butter her up, and whe she's least expecting it, he'll turn on her."

Cody glared at them, "You two have a lot of talk to be trying to go after her... and yes, I am a meister!" He balled his fists, "My name is Cody Roth, and I am a knight meister... and I won't let you harm her!" He said proudly because he was protecting an innocent soul.

"Oh, so you'd rather protect the witch then?" the meister smirked. "Fine, we can duke this out right here. Winner gets the witch."

Nel twitched. "N-Now hold on! I'm a living being! I should have some say in this!"

"Shut up," the meister shot at her.

Cody shouted at them, "HEY! You need to shut the hell up!" He was starting to get pissed off at this show of dishonor from those two. He glared at them, "How about this, Ill fight the two of you... I win, you leave Nel alone and if you ever bother her again, a kishin would be the least of your worries... if you win, Ill stay out of your way..."

"EH!?" Nel gasped. "C-Cody!?"

"Fine," the meister smirked. "I'll take that fight."
