This is for all those Celts that turned. Ones like Katherin McGavin. It takes place in Ireland.

It is cold and raining. Everyone is asleep in their warm beds, they are dreaming of warm fuzzy things, and no fear as to what lurks in the night. Not thinking that outside in the rain is things that go bump in the night and sleep during the day. It is were our story takes place. On the streets of Dublin even though you can't see them, or hear them, the vampires are there.
(I don't know if this is good or not, but its all I got right now lol)

She was once a human woman about to married till one night she was walking home and was taken into the dark corner of an alley. There she was turned and raped. Told if she ever said anything about tonight she would regret it forever. She did tell her mom and nothing happened, she to this day hopes he is dead. She now lives in an apartment and yes everyone thinks she is dead

Abilities: Telekinetic and telepathic. With his endless years he has devoted himself to all fields of academic study and has been a professor at various colleges throughout his long life. An accomplished linguist, musician and scholar he often finds it hard to speak to most people or even care for the world. Considering it to be reduced to mere trivium and banal pastimes. Bran is waiting for the next great Renaissance to bring the human race back to the love of knowledge and study. rather than merely studying only to find a way to make money rather than seeking truth and knowledge for its own sake.

Bran sat in the branch of an old Rowan tree his sharp eyes easily adapted to the moonlight. He was reading through a book on linguistics and the evolution of human communication as it becomes ever increasingly through digital mediums. As he turned the page he sighed. He could remember when few held the distinction of reading and writing, and then the beauty that came when more people could now it seemed that writing and books were dying once more. Bran's eyes scanned the old stone church a few yards distant. It had stood the test of hundreds of years it was once a fortress, and a school now it only sees use for the occasional wedding or funeral. Was the world dying once more? Was this to be another age of isolation? he asked himself. Instead of wars would the technology that seemed to bring us closer actually be what kept people locked away in their own cloistered house? He tried not to think of this as he considered what to do with the rest of his night hours.

Juliane was out and about as usual looking for her dinner so to speak. Everyone was at the movies watching Twilight a new movie. Vampires do not sparkle, they are portraying us all wrong. She said as she walked by the theater. As she walked she began to hum to herself. Not really caring where she was going, she only cared about what her dinner would taste like. She liked the rain always has and to feel it now hitting her face was a joy to her. I love this, I wish it would stay like this forever. She said as she spun around with her arms out stretched. Nothing could change the way she felt.

Bran sensed the approach of another vampire, she seemed to have a far more human soul and mind form what he could feel from her. I wonder how old she is? He thought to himself as he headed off in the direction of the telepathic signal. As he passed the mortals he kept his face of stone he could render himself invisible to them, not by achieving true invisibility but by making himself of no interest in their minds if they were questioned immediately after passing him they could not recall anything about him. It was a skill he had honed back when mortals still believed in vampires and would even hunt them down, now they were icons of horror, lust and childish fantasies.

Juliane continued to spin around without a care in the world, she really couldn't care that another vampire was on the way. She stopped spinning for a minute and just stood there getting drenched. She spotted something moving and could smell someone who was drunk coming down the sidewalk past her. She walked over and up behind the person and knowing that they would never know what happened latched on and began to drink. She used her powers to make him think that nothing was going on that he got bit by a spider. Once she had enough she licked to wounds closed and it did look like a spider had bit him. Now full she was able to sit and enjoy the rain, which she did.

At least she knows how to choose a victim he thought as he watched her. Once he was closer he set out a thought. "Next time be sure no eyes can see, humans thinking us to be a myth is our greatest asset." He sent out to her and smirked as he waited for a reply.

Juliane jumped up on the defensive, no sure who it could be, but whoever it was she would protect herself.Who is there? She growled scanning with her eyes as to who it might be. She stopped, took a deep breath and let her senses take over. Her parents before they died told her to do so and to trust them, she did. I see you over there, come out and tell me who you are sir He eyes open she looked right at him.

Bran gave a liht laugh. "Come into the light, that is something you and I do not do very often, now is it?" He said as he strode forward light on his toes. The woman was not pleased and this amused him greatly, she was not young and yet she was not using her full sense.

With it still raining she walked forward towards the voice. Still not to happy to have her evening interrupted. No it is not, but as you can see tis rainin' so again I say, show yourself. Her Irish temper coming through. She noticed his black shoes but that still wasn't enough. Closing her eyes again she let her scenes take over, this time she knew what he was waring and that he was smiling, but that was all she could get, nothing else. Another vampire She said out loud, knowing this she knew this was the reason that she couldn't get anything else.

"Ahh, the sleeper awakens" he said dropping his psychic mask and allowing her to see him fully. The girls anger amused him and he decided to chide her further. "Usually a person in our condition feels a sense of happiness at a decent meal, yet you seem like the cat that was thrown in the lake." Bran said to the young girl as he began to pace around her, studying her like a hawk.

Juliane was angered by him watching her like she was a meal. I did enjoy it, till Ye' came and runined it fur me She said as she watched him closely. She didn't like this vampire, if she was amusing him she wanted no part of it. She looked at him and didn't do anything didn't say anymore, didn't do anything that would make him happy or laugh. She wouldn't be his amusement for the night.

Who was your sire, they did not do well in teaching you our ways. Humans are beneath us but you must not kill at will unless you have the power to control minds more easily. The days where we were rulers are long gone now we are just silly legends and mortifying romance figures. He communicated to her telepathically standing still and watching her face for reaction. This little one held much anger, he decided with nothing better to do he would try to find why.

My parents were the ones that made me, so they are my sire. She said, ask she remembered how they died, which angered her more. Look I am sorry for being angry, but I may be young but you will find I am old, I have had to teach myself everything. She told him honestly. She hunted this way because it was what worked for her. Still raining she lifted her face to it and let it hit her, closing her eyes she enjoyed it.
