Trølei'i is the southern most portion of the Skaglands. Many people traveling will end up at the Trølei'i Spires. A strange terrain that leads deeper into the Rysękkę Skaglands. This region is host to many scavenging creatures. Some large, but most small. Near the spires one can find an ancient travelers stone that reads, "Onward to Rysękkę. The Home of the Lost." This is a common place for bandits to attack those seeking the refuge of the Rysękkę Skaglands.

Araxie let out a soft groan as she came to. The slightest movement caused pain to sear throughout her body. Whispering a curse under her breath, she slowly rose to her feet, brushing the rubble from her clothes. Steadily the memories of what had happened were returning to her. Bandits had come. There was and explosion of some sort. She was knocked back against a cliff wall and must have hit her head.

Looking around, she saw the bodies of the servants strewn across the broken boxes of cargo. The wagon was smoldering ashes back in the distance. Roxi stood there cursing the benefactor. If that old geazer would have just allowed her to use her crew on this mission, she would not be in this predicament. These soft-handed greens were no match for the bandits. Luckily, it seemed they only took what they could carry, no doubt planning to come back for the rest. Roxi had to move quickly if she was to salvage anything of this mess.

After a few moments the woman found a small cave that had been revealed by the previous explosion. Working as quickly and as efficiently as she could, she began moving the cargo to the cave and hiding the cave entrance with rubble and such. After making it look as natural and inconspicuous as possible, she gathered what she could and sat off towards the nearest city to track down some help.

Riyak Silver

User Image
Riyak quickly leapt out of the way of a massive pair of jaws as they snapped shut around where he had been, part of his shirt was torn by the beast massive jaws as he just barely avoided death. "whoa, whoa, down boy, that was too close" he said as he jumped back landing beside a dead deer. That deer was what he and the beast were fighting over, two scavengers fighting over food. Riyak took a deep breath as his body began to emit a faint glow "okay the gloves are off now" Riyak said as he looked at the creature. it rushed towards him, barring its fangs it swung one of its massive paws at Riyak, who blocked with his left arm. The blow was intense, it sent him skidding to the side and his arm was hit pretty well. Slowly he moved his arm around as he walked forwards "That hurt... man its gonna be sore for awhile" Riyak muttered before the beasts right arm was swung at him. This time Riyak reacted in time and delivered a powerful uppercut to the beasts jaw. As his fist hit he felt something crack, he knew he broke the creatures jaw, but he couldn't stop there. Yet before he moved the beast lunged forwards and headbutted Riyak sending him flying backwards, when he landed the creature was on him again, on of its massive paws came down on Riyak again, however this time when Riyak blocked he didn't move. His eyes suddenly began glowing red and his body began shifting slightly. Riyak suddenly punched the creature square between the eyes causing its skull to break apart killing it instantly and sending a spray of blood across the boy. Riyak quickly calmed down after the beast was dead, he stumbled backwards as his eyes reverted. "Crap, I had to use that again... I'm sorry for that" he muttered to the now deceased creature, before walking over and picking up the deer that the two were fighting over.

Riyak slowly walked away with the deer on his shoulders, he was depressed about his recent kill. It had been several months since last he entered that state, now in this recent fight he entered it. He could have won using his normal power, that power was overkill. As he continued walking Riyak's ears twitched slightly as he heard something explode in the distance. It was faint but he definitely heard it. Placing the deer down Riyak quickly darted off in the direction of the blast. If someone was hurt nearby he had to help. Ever since he had freed himself in his past and due to his curse causing him to kill so many, he had made a vow to save human life when ever possible, so with an explosion it was almost certain that people were hurt. It took several minutes to get to the site and when he made it he covered his mouth in horror

Bodies were everywhere, some bloodied and mangled, Yet Riyak checked each one for a pulse. He found no pulse on any body he checked. As he approached one body his vision began going blurry and he felt his heart pounding, looking at a nearby corpse he saw it had a gold bracelet on it. Riyak quickly jumped back until he got far enough away that it didn't effect him "crap, gold... well it doesn't matter no one's alive..." Riyak trailed off as he noticed movement a little distance aways, perhaps there was a survivor and he had just missed them. Quickly he ran towards this person, as he closed the gap he saw it was a female and in no time at all he made it to her. "excuse me but were you from that site back there? are you okay? What happened? why is everyone there dead?" Riyak asked a question one after another before forcibly stopping himself "sorry for that, My name is Riyak Silver, I saw all those people dead back there and was wondering if you were apart of that" he asked with a slight bow to the woman

FANTHRALL MURES

Away from the harsh lands of barbarians and beast alike and once more into the fray to the wild plains of bandits in the Skaglands-- the latter a considerably lesser evil in Fanthrall's humble opinion. Dreadfully enough it was coincidentally also the evil he was much less eager to spend his time in. Onward to Rysękkę, what else was there but to bring along the beast of burden both carrying and hauling his loot that was to be sold and head on to the markets. The twisted half-breed of bison and a griffin, wingless beast with a bull's head and lion's paws that was hauling his belongings seemed startled for a moment, the smell of fire, blood and violence not missed by Fanthrall, either. However, where there were all such things, there was loot; more to gather like the vulture he was, which was perhaps why he turned the beast and cart it was hauling to close in on the area.

He paused a good distance away, rolling himself on the balls of his feet, the ever cool metal of the blade in a knee-length leather boot forcing him to reconsider how good of an idea it was to go nearer at all. Where he stood, far up in the shade of harsh cliffs, with not an easy path up nor down, he studied the mouth of the cave he could witness from above; eyes scanning carefully for the suspected survivors of the massacre, judging silently their presence. Always with he desire to aid; to give comfort to those who weren't after his blood and to trust none would be if he treated them comfortably, he considered the path down and the cart he was with. Then, and only then the impression he might have left himself - a horned shadow standing in the bright sunlight, a shady beast to his side.

Not at all as friendly as he was.

Best to break that dreary look and offer his assistance, he decided. Wrapping his hands as a tube before his mouth to have his voice ring clearer, Fanthrall provided the most eager offer of his assistance he could in the current moment. "Down there! Need of help? I take you to Rysękkę, yes?" His words were choppy but spoken in the common tongue, laced thick with the accent of Nyfødthjem Southlands. Fluttery, a little stuttering even, like the wings of a butterfly who'd not yet woken from its rest.

The woman laughed softly at her predicament, imagining the jabs and taunts that she'd be receiving from her crew. Smiling to herself, Araxie continued on her path in search of help. Softly she hummed and eerie melody to herself as she followed the sun as a guide.
Not too far down the path, Roxi heard the blonde haired man approach and turned to face him. She involuntarily scoffed at his appearance. He was smaller than she preferred, would have trouble with carrying the cargo if she decided to ask. However, he was covered in blood, so perhaps there was more to him. Taking a bit of a guarded stance, she began chipping away at his many questions. "Aye. That caravan back there was charged to me." Her islander accent laced thickly in her speech. "Bandits attacked. Those men...weak.." She made a face at the word as if it left a bad taste. "I am not like them. Bandits had.." She fumbled for the word, giving up after a few moments, and motioning and explosion with her hands. "Boom.." She sighed at her own incompetence, shaking her her head and extending her hand to Riyak, her gold bangle bracelets tinkling softly. "My name is Roxi."
Araxie's introduction was cut short by a voice calling out from over head and she peered up at the being. For a moment she stood stunned. Not because the figure looming over them sported horns, as most would be concerned, but because he had a cart in his possession. "Oh how the gods smile this day..." She whispered softly to herself before signaling acceptance to the man above.

Riyak looked at the woman as she began to answer his questions. As she spoke Riyak analysed her, she looked a little guarded to him, though her tone was confident, though the way she spoke was a little odd, though Riyak did not judge her for that. Riyak looked a little surprised as she said that bandits had struck her caravan and that those dead men back there were weak. Riyak looked a little offended at that remark he didn't like that she had classified people as weak, the way she said it implied that she held no regard for those who died back there. Riyak hated that, all lives held meaning Riyak took it upon himself to try to save anyone possible no matter what. Yet as she spoke further, implying her own strength was superior, Riyak kept his mouth shut about his opinions. Saying what he thought wouldn't accomplish anything other than a senseless argument, if he truly wanted to help he would have to slowly con her to see his own views.

Riyak snapped back to reality as she introduced herself, Riyak brought a warm smile across his face "okay, its nice to meet you miss R... R..." Riyak's body shuttered as she extended her hand, he felt his heart pound inside his chest as he looked at two gold bracelets on her arm. Riyak shook his head quickly and suddenly leapt back several meters. His body shuttered as he slowly looked up, his eyes were fading in and out of a red hue. breathing deeply he soon rose up and stood up straight, his presence was different, it carried a dangerous feel to it "Hey umm... if you don't mind could you remove your gold?" he asked before shaking his head a little "this isn't a robbery or anything, its just... gold gives me an awful headache, I guess you call it an allergy? I guess" Riyak said as he rubbed his forehead a little, his eyes were still flickering between red and the normal brown.

His attention shifted as he heard another voice asking if they needed help. Riyak didn't heed the voice much attention as he was a little busy resisting the gold while it wasn't enough to make him fully switch it was driving his body wild, how he had missed it at first was a mystery, perhaps the thought of someone alive after seeing all those dead gave him enough hope to miss the initial effects, but he was sure as anything feeling it now

FANTHRALL MURES

Dark eyes, the shade of rust narrowed down at the pair below, head cocked, focus entirely on how friendly the acceptance would be. Seeing as neither turned their focus too intently on him and one seemed to agree with the idea of assistance, he too concentrated on a more important part - whether it was easier for him to circle around to get down; climb down himself to assist and take the chances of leaving his beloved cart unattended briefly. Perhaps even simply stay put and await until the pair opted to make their way to him instead. Weighing the options, he idly scratched his cart-pulling beast behind its ear before giving a horn an decisive pull to guide it along with him. "I come down, yes. Soon there," he called out once more, clipped and simple.

Just like that, he followed the edge of the cliffs, seeking for a point where it was less steep, and slowly beginning his descent, keeping the cart from pushing at the beast and guiding loose stones out of the way from the wheels. Last thing he would need was to break them; no need to complicate his arrival to his destination more. Sales were something important; the armor, the hides, herbs, venoms, jewels, gold and silver that were in his cart were much too expensive for him to simply let it go. However, there was still the potential of making new friends down there; if not earning more for the provided assistance.

Slowly did he move, eventually easing his grunting, irritated beast to settle. Clumsy was the arrival but he'd made it closer; enough so for it to smell the blood and danger much like he did. Sharp and metallic; threatening in the most uncomfortable ways. He huffed, opting not keep his distance for the time being and remain where he was, nearer now but unwilling to simply go and pick through the corpses of what might have been the friends of those two.

Roxi cocked her eyebrow slightly at Riyak's reaction to her bracelets. She had heard many things during her travels but never of a reaction to gold such as his. However, she could see that the male was indeed suffering, so she complied, placing the bracelets in an internal pocket of her vest. "You foreigners are quite strange." She spoke with a smile. "Remind me to ne'er take you upon my ship."
The woman pulled a small square cloth from one of her many pockets and began tying her hair back from her face. "Bandits took much cargo, but there was much left behind. I hid it in the dark safety. Help me move it and I shall share the profit with you." She made her way in the direction of the man with the cart, admiring the beast who was pulling it.
Leaving Riyak behind to make his decision, she promptly met the horned newcomer at the bottom of the mountain. "Thank you for stopping." She spoke to him, still staring at the animal. "This creature is magnificent...I have never seen its likeness." Roxi wanted badly to pet the animal, but thought it best to not. Instead, she extended her hand to the stranger, in the same manner as she did Riyak. "I am Araxie, many just call me Roxi." She went on explaining her predicament to the man, asking for aid and the use of the cart, offering the same deal, part of the profits of the goods as repayment.

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

High up in the sky Lyndis was flying. With powerful strokes of her wings she remained floating as she took out a trinket from her pocket. It was a blue crystal attacked to a silver chain. "okay. Let’s see what were we go next" with that said she start turning around in the air and closed her eyes concentrating on the crystal in her hands. She saw images of the location she was to go next. After a moment she opened her eyes again. "to Trølei'i it seems" she said as she looked in the direction of the skaglands. She was wondering why the crystal send her there. Maybe a new soul to recruit? She flapped her wings and set out to the south of the Rysękkę Skaglands.

I didn’t take too long before she arrived at the place she was send to. She landed in the middle of the corpses of the killed merchants and wagons. "okay. Here we are." she said as she stretched a bit before looking at the battlefield. "such a shame. None seem to been worthy" she said and clasped her hands together with the chain of the soul stone between them and started to pray, unaware of the others who were there not too far off. "merciful god up in heaven heed my call. Open thine arms and welcome these souls lost of life into thine caring embrace. Guide their way to light so their torment will be no more and they may find peace in the afterlife" although she came too late to witness the events happening here she could still guide the souls of the fallen to the afterlife. The crystal bungling just beneath her closed hands started to emit a faint blue glow. She was praying for about a minute she returned to reality. "hmmm. It doesn’t look like this massacre is caused by evil forces but by mortals themselves… so why am I sent here?" she wondered as she looked around. Then she noticed the other people there. Did they have something to do with these killings? It was too far for her to judge but looking towards them she did get an ominous feel. There was something wrong. Lyndis took her halberd off her back and held it in one hand. The crystal rarely would just send her somewhere just to do a sending. There must be something of importance here. And generally that means evil creatures or other adversaries. She started to walk over towards the group "greetings. Are thou able to tell me what has happened over yonder?" she said approaching when she noticed the distress in the blond male. Lyndis narrowed her eyes and firmly gripped onto her halberd "Demon" she spoke under her breath as she stood there with her weapon ready and pointed towards the male. To her it looked like the male was in the process of transforming into a demon. Maybe that tattooed woman of the man with the horns have done something to him. Whatever it is Lyndis cannot afford to let her guard down.

Riyak Silver
User Image

Riyak calmed down a little as she placed her gold bracelets in her vest pocket, he could still sense the gold clearly and it still bothered him, but his eyes were no longer shifting colours rather just stayed normal, he figured as long as he just didn't have to be right next to her he'd be fine. Riyak pulled out a small ball of silver he kept and held it tightly for a moment, silver was one of his favorite things mainly because it helped cancel out gold's effect on him, it also helped keep him calm for some reason. "Yeah I get the whole strange thing alot" Riyak said as he walked a little closer, with the silver in his hand he felt a little better. Soon the woman spoke of how she should never take him on her ship which surprised Riyak a little, though not as much as what she said next. She explained that some of her cargo had been left behind by the bandits and if Riyak helped her move it he could share in the profits made from it. Riyak knew that some extra money would help, the whole reason he was here was because his wallet was empty. That whole though made him suddenly remember the deer he had fought that one beast for. For a moment he panicked a little it was hard work getting that, though it was probably pointless now, he hoped that the payout from this would be at least half decent, though all of this made his fight earlier meaningless.

He quickly turned to follow Roxi as she went to go greet the man with the cart. As he reached her he spoke "Sure I'll help out my wallets been a little light anyways" Riyak said before stopping in his tracks as the man with the cart neared him, he could feel it, the man had gold on him or at least in his cart, Riyak's eyes began flashing red again, gripping his forehead he muttered something in an unknown tongue, his voice changed slightly. Shaking his head he took a step back, "Crap... that's not good" he managed to blurt out as he walked back his voice returning as he made it to a safe distance. There was too much gold around, if he got to close to that concentration, especially since he hadn't been around gold for awhile so his defenses were not in top form. If he fell back into that state, well everyone else would be fine though he would become unable to act on his own and would listen to anyone who ordered him, that was a fate Riyak wanted to avoid desperately. "Hey how much gold do you have in that cart? Its kinda messing with me, if you could get rid of it I'd pay you back for it" Riyak said before another voice spoke up.

It was a woman with horns and black wings, she asked if they knew what happened to all those who had died. Riyak was going to give an answer before she suddenly turned hostile and aimed her halberd at him before calling him a demon. Riyak sighed obviously she picked up on his little quirk, his eyes flashing red probably tipped her off, though there were other subtle changes, such as an increase in muscle mass and his fangs grew a little. "Before anything else, do you have any gold? before you get any closer please toss it away, it'll just make things worse for me" he said before letting out a small breath guess it was time to blurt out what he was, though he doubted they would know about his race, but anything was better than being called a demon. "Lycanoid, I'm a lycanoid not a demon, what your seeing is a response to gold, it draws out negative qualities in me" He explained though he left out the part where if there was enough gold one could control him, that kind of info no one needed to know "now if you could just lower your weapon we'd be happy to talk"

FANTHRALL MURES

With slightly narrowed eyes, Fanthrall studied the woman approaching him; trying to figure out the area she was from or to whom her loyalty belonged without any true success in the endeavor. He smiled then, broad and pleased, nodding almost too eagerly. "Of course I stop, all good people," he gestured loosely to the pair, "Need help, get help." Simple as that; if there was a need, there was usually a way to get to it and in these rough lands, a good company could make all the difference. He nodded lightly, glancing towards his favored pet himself. "Mutt, half-breed, clever in the head. Cras the name." Whatever else it could be called, Fanthrall didn't know, nor did he truly care. Rather than pondering over it, he reached out and accepted the offered hand for a firm, sturdy handshake. "Fanthrall, Fawkes simpler. Works."

Introductions aside, he was curious about the other male that smelled all but right. Predatory in a manner that he, purely instinctively, did not find in any way comforting. Blasphemous! Getting rid of his gold-- who would do such a horrid thing? "Gold mine. Work hard to find it out here. Good coin in items; your wallet much, much lighter," Fanthrall spoke, trying to reason in his own manner. "I hide under more hides? Better then?" The man offered, quite generously in his own opinion because getting rid of something that might earn him choices for more safety back home was frankly a moronic thought. He had taken a few steps back, reasonably protective of his cart and the gathered loot, none of which he cared enough to keep but again, he was in it for the markets. Foragers-- foraged.

Good timing for retreating, it appeared, considering that the winged woman dropping from the skies seemed much less friendly than the two; although he found it questionable when it came to the lycanoid. Settling back to scratching at Cras's ear, he studied the trio before him now, yet again finding himself weighing his options but for the moment, settling to observe, mostly prepared to retreat rather than for battle. Talking seemed like a nice idea. Talking was good, talking was safe.

This land kept getting more and more strange and she feared that this was only the beginning. Araxie took a step back in amazement when the winged woman landed. What was she and what was the crystal she held? The faint glow drew her attention. It reminded her of the stones of her homeland.
Roxi remained fixated on the woman as she made her way to the group and practically growled when the woman raised her halberd to Riyak. Quickly moving to the front of the group, she withdrew and raised her dagger protectively. Instinctively, she began pooling mana, drawing all the moisture from the air. Her eyes reflected this, becoming a brighter and brighter shade of blue.
"I know not of what you are, nor do I completely care, but these men have agreed to help me with my task and that makes them, my crew. I do not take with kindness to ones who threaten my crew." She held her defensive stance as she felt the power, like ice, rushing through her system. "Lower your weapon and back away. Let us talk like civilized beings...unless you are not?"

Lyndis de Ferdoarn
"It shall be engraved upon thine soul!"

╒═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╡╞═╪═╕

Lyndis kept her halberd pointed at the blond guy in a defensive stand as he turned to her and spoke. She was a bit confused to the question if she had any gold on her and to throw it away if she wanted to get closer as it would make it worse for him. Lyndis thought for a bit. Did she had any gold on her? No, she only wore silver. Lyndis adjusted her stance a little bit and the many silver crosses on her garb let out hollow chimes as the moved and hit each other. The guy then explained he was a lycanoid and not a demon and that the symptoms she witnessed were the effect of gold on him. It didn’t made her think any different about it. And the fact she had no idea what a ‘lycanoid’ was didn’t help either "demons come if many shape. And so many names are given. But this does not hide that they still are demon" she said narrowing her eyes again as the guy asked for her to put down her weapon so they could talk. Lyndis hesitated but as it seems the transforming symptoms were residing from the guy as the gold around him was stashed away out of his reach Lyndis did lower her guard a bit. Still she had the halberd aimed at the guy but it was a neutral stance, not one aimed at attacking. "the demon inside seems to be stable. I guess there is no need anymore…" she was about to stand down when the tattooed lady jumped between them with knife drawn and changeling magic. she spoke of how the blond boy and the horned guy, who decided to stay out of this squabble, were part of her crew and that she didn’t took it with kindness that she threatened one of them. The woman took a defensive stance and demanded Lyndis to lay down her arms so they could talk questioning her civility.

"foolish" Lyndis said with a chuckle, spread her wings and flew up to land a few feet back. She had her halberd into an aggressive stance with the position of her legs and wings so that she could lunge forward at an instance. "thou asks for me to lay down my steel to talk yet thine brandish steel thineself? I’m sorry I can’t oblige to that. I hope thine can understand" Lyndis adjusted her stance a little bit now completely aimed at the tattooed woman. She threw an examining glance to her opponent to see what she was up against. "if thine truly want to talk then thou must sheath thine steel and I shall do the same… but if you refuse… Hrist will be happy to answer thou in blood and in steel if thee wishes so. Perhaps I shall deem you worthy to become mine einherjar then" Lyndis said amusingly. She had no intend at first to fight but as the woman took up arms to her Lyndis saw this as a tread to her and the mission of her god as she was doing that. And this should not be allowed. But as the woman seems ignorant and did it to perform a noble deed Lyndis was prepared to forgive her for that. That is. If she would lay down arms.

Riyak gave a slightly defeated sigh as the angel looking woman said demon came with many shape and names but none the less they were still demons "right, okay who said convincing you would be easy, well I guess if I was a demon, Which I'm not, I wouldn't just admit to it, I think at least" He said before he felt a little relief, he guessed the man had put something over the gold or something, while it didn't help too much it did help a little which seemed to con the woman into lowering her weapon, she said that it looked like the demon inside seemed to be stable which cause Riyak too shake his head a little "I told you there's no, whatever its just good if we can talk" he said as he was about to walk forwards, well that was until Roxi moved infront of him, weapon raised, she spoke of Riyak and the other male as her crew due to them agreeing to help her out. It touched Riyak that someone was so trusting to the point where they'd defend him like this, still though right now was the worst time for this, he had almost gotten to peaceful conversation before she jumped in "so close" he muttered before the angel looking one took a new stance, Riyak could see she was ready to take to battle in a moment

Riyak quickly moved between both women so both weapons were aimed at him now, as he did he raised his hands in to show he wasn't here to fight. Sweat was running down his forehead a little, Riyak wasn't made of steel, he was nervous he had just voluntarily walked into the middle of a potential fight between an ally, whom seeing her eyes Riyak realized she was ready to use magic which made the situation even more tense and nerve wracking, and the other had been ready to skewer him just a moment ago so now he was even closer to her weapon, not a favorable place to be. In hindsight he figured the angel like lady could probably use magic too "whoa, whoa there look please don't go at each others throats over mine, though I am touched by the gesture Roxi, thank you" Riyak said with a slight smile, though ther was a definite nervous tone to his voice "Alright we don't need to spill blood with... Hirst?" honestly Riyak had no idea what this Hirst was perhaps she named her weapon or something, he figured it unimportant for the time being "okay if we could just lower out weapons, Roxi if you could do so first that'd be great, don't worry about me I trust this woman here" In truth Riyak didn't hold much trust in her, but she had been willing to lower her weapon earlier so he hoped she still be good with lowering her weapon. If she didn't and she stabbed Riyak, he knew his lycanoid side would take over, and since it would be activated without gold, well he'd become a tad violent himself to all those around him. "okay and miss... I don't believe I got your name, well in any case if you could lower your weapon as well we can all avoid a unpleasant situation, and I can move out of the kill zone here" Riyak said hoping the two ladies would listen to him, if not this would get pretty messy really quickly and that was the last thing he wanted

FANTHRALL MURES

Climbing onto his cart, Fanthrall busied himself with browsing through his possessions and doing as he'd promised, quick, nimble hands gathering the few items of gold there and wrapping them tight into a bundle of hides, and then sealing them within a thick hardwood chest which he hid beneath other various items. Surprisingly quick work for someone like him but he worked through the things as if he was utterly used to it whilst keeping his eye on the situation unfolding before him -- Roxi defending them all; her crew she called them, what a lovely concept. Admittedly, Fanthrall wasn't against it but he'd not agreed to such things per say, simply wanted to give his hand and on some level, with the hassle there, he was already regretting it.

The winged woman there made things more complicated. Demons and bold demands; hostility flying all over the place for no good reason, and Fanthrall scowled as he climbed off his cart. The fellow male in the group; the damned sensitive one, was trying to soothe things out himself and Fanthrall could only hope that the man could handle it in place of making things worse as he feared to do with his own interruption and yet, cautious, light steps drew him closer, hands hanging to his sides, a friendly smile curling his lips in spite of the tension in the air. "Lovely ladies, please. We all friends here, yes. None need wave weapons around. Mister Lycan, you too, all well, gold hidden, we good, yes? No need to shed blood. Too much effort, bigger threats out here-- like people who did that, yes." Fanthrall gestured loosely towards the corpses that lay sprawled on the ground they'd painted red themselves.

"We all strangers here, yes? I suspect it is not our homeland. I travel through; rarely ever need raise hand or weapon. Spread respect to the land here. Wild, yes, but also harsher to those who lure in bigger, badder things. With scent of blood and violence." Once more, he looked upon the corpses, readily pointing out that they were already in danger and picking fights among themselves was likely going to be a meaningless endeavor. "We can go many directions. We can also go in one." Fanthrall grinned broadly, stepping to Roxi's side, unwilling to go as near as the lycanoid had but against his better ideas, getting involved in the mess regardless. He did wish to get going, though, preferably as soon as possible even if he didn't have the time to gather more to sell all the way out in the City of Twelve. "I know good people, I see," he gestured to his eyes. "We all have good hearts yes." Of course, he couldn't see a damned thing for all it was worth but as per usual, he was more willing to hope for peace and settlement than anything else.
