Hans stopped sniffing when he heard the sound. He looked up, ears alert. When he spotted Gigdet and Justine, he barked and ran towards them.

Justine smiled somewhat as she heard Hans bark. She was glad he was okay. "I'm just not sure what he brought us here for." She laughed softly, her voice filled with uncertainty. She thought back to if they had exchanged names back in the dinner, but they hadn't since she had ran out to get her wallet... "Oh, did you ever find your wallet?" She titled her head to the side, her eye brows raised in question behind her white cloth. She felt the dog's nose push against her leg and she looked down to him. "don't run off like that." She spoke to him as if he were a child. She ran her hands down his sides and placed her head on his for a moment.

Gidget smiles at the woman and her dog. "Ah, so you remember me. Yes I did get my wallet back. My name is Agatha, Agatha Morris. But I hate that name so I'd prefer it if you called me Gidget."

The woman smiled and held out her hand to Gigdet. "Justine Monroe. I don't mind it, but my friend back at the station used to call me Justice." She laughed softly. It was dumb, she knew, but she kind of liked it. "It's nice to meet you Gigdet. And thank you.. again." She blushed softly on the last word. It was strange how hard to was to meet new people when you couldn't see them clearly. She could see part of re face when the girl spoke. Her lips for instance, and the tip of her nose. If they were in a busier area, she might have been able to see her better. But even in the dinner, she didn't have much of a chance to see the woman's face.

What she remembered from their first encounter was the strange rhythm of her heart, and the almost machinery like sounds of her body. She wanted to ask, but felt much to shy to do so...

Gidget's eyes brighten, "You used to be a cop? I can see how the name Justice would be apt, especially since you wear tha...I'm sorry, that was very rude of me."

Gidget scans her facial recognition database and compares it a list of known addresses. A second later and her GPS has a fix on Justine's house. She isn't about to let her know this though. "I'm guessing you'd like to go home. Where is that exactly?"

"the corner of 35th Est and K street." Justine said with a shrug. She had wanted to go home, but there really wasn't much for her to do there. She liked to be out most of the day and hear the city around her. At home it was quite. And therefore, she saw nothing. Nothing happened. It was a place to relax, like it had always been, but it was also a place that held little to no meaning to her at this point of her life. "I guess I could go back home. I should get Hans more situated..."

Gidget tilts her head curiously at Justine. Then something inside of her began to move. Not a gear or a lever, but something inside of her soul. She sees Justine's empty sockets, remaining optic nerves at the base of her brain, multiple cybernetic enhancement possibilities. No, not possibilities, solutions. She can help this woman see, or at the very least give her a secondary sight.

Gidget looks directly at Justice and whispers in a tone that suggests amazement and curiosity, "I can give you vision."

Justine felt her entire body tense. She stood very still, barely breath. Several things ran through her head at once. There was the normal reaction of joy and confusion as to how, or why she would wanted to help her. But there was something else inside her. Sure, she couldn't see. At least, not in the same way as everyone else could. And then there were the other skills she had acquired. She hadn't really had a chance to use them. But... would they still be there if she regained her vision? She had assumed that all these skills had come from the meteor shard that floated through her veins. But maybe she was wrong. Maybe every blind person was like this. No. She knew that wasn't true. She sighed softly as she turned to Gigdet. "I don't think it'll be as easy as you might think it is...." She tilted her head to the side. She laughed softly, unsure how to tell her. "I.... I'm not as blind as you think I am..." She shook her head. "That sounds dumb." She laughed softly to herself. "What I mean to say is... I don't really think I could handle having my vision back." She reached up and twirled her hair around her pointer finger of her left hand, while the other slipped into her pocket. "It's kind of hard to explain..."

Gidget shakes her head, "It's not as hard as you think. I know you have been exposed to meteor radiation. I could tell you how but you may think I'm crazy. I'm a meta-human just like you, and I am positive that at the very least you will be able to maneuver yourself without a seeing eye dog. I know this sounds crazy, but I have never been this sure of anything."

Gidget holds Justine's hands inside of hers tightly. Her artificial lungs and heart start to increase in pace. She hasn't been this excited about making something since striking it big with the med-scanner. "I'm not sure if you know who I am, but I invented the med-scanner. That's part of my power, I can make things. Please, let's just sit down somewhere and I can tell you all about it."

"You.. You know about that?" She asked in shock. She shook her head to try and clear her thoughts. "I think sitting down is a great idea." She laughed nervously. "I don't really understand what's going on, but I still don't understand what's going on." She sighed softly as she grabbed onto Hans' lead. "Please. Lead the way." She motioned for her to find some place for them to talk.

Moments later Gidget has driven Justine back to her home. She figures it would be best to drop all this information in a place she was comfortable in. She looks around the ex-officer's apartment, examining how she has adapted to recently losing her eyesight.

She picks up a photograph of Justine when she was on the force. Gidget smiles at how much her new friend looks like the poster child for women on the force.

"How long were you an officer?" She asks politely.

"Only a few years." She crossed her legs as she sat down and patted Hans on the head. "I knew I wanted to be a Police Officer since I was little. It was really hard work, but I loved it. Knowing that I was helping people, It just felt so... right." She sighed softly and shook her head. "I'm sorry, I'm being rude. Feel free to help yourself to anything you'd like. Make yourself at home."

Gidget smiles cordially at her host, "Thank you."

Gidget takes a seat on a couch adjacent to Justine's chair. She also crosses her legs and takes a deep mechanical breath. This recent meteor shower has been highly productive. Now it's time to hear Justine's story.

"So let's start from the beginning. How did you come into contact with a meteor fragment?"

"when the news came that the second meteor shower was approaching, the city panicked. We were sent to make a perimeter around where the meteor was to hit. I was one of the officers there. When it hit, it shattered into small fragments. One of them somehow immbeded itself into my left eye. They called the EMT over who brought me to the hospital. There...." She sighed softly. "They removed my eyes to try and keep me from being infected... As the put it. I guess in hindsight that wasn't the smartest idea. Either way, my carree was ended short." She folded her hands in her lap and stared out at nothing.

Gidget looks to Justine with sympathy. This recent occurrence had been much more conspicuous than the last one. After what had happened over a decade ago, people were afraid of meta-humans. Some like Gidget, Trinity, hell even Charles Ray have been able to keep their gifts hidden. What really started things was Leviathan Cortez's attack on a public hospital.

Police presence at the site of a meteor impact. It was madness. Yet Gidget doesn't blame her new friend. "I'm sorry that happened. If things were different then there wouldn't have needed to be a guard detail for a meteor impact. To top it all off, they blinded you unnecessarily. Once that fragment hit you, that was it. It only takes a small piece for a fraction of a second.

That brings me to my next question. What sort of gifts have you inherited from the meteor?"

Justine paused. It was hard to explain what kind of gifts she had. "I guess the easiest thing to say is my senses have been heightened to an above normal level. I get a kind of dim image of shapes from the sound waves bouncing off of things, I can heat someone heart beat, as well and sense their body heat. I Vanessa things too. Like never before. Like... I know what's in it." she reached forwards and grabbed the paper sitting on the coffe table. It was dated as yesterday. "I can read any article in this paper." she blushed softly. "I can feel the ink...." she laughed to herself. "I sound crazy..."
