Hello everyone I am new at posting here, Well my name is Carla and I am currently in college and of course my major is Graphic Design! I was in Multimedia Design but changed cause Graphic Design is more my thing! xd I love them both though. I hope to get a job in Graphic Design so I can pay off all these loans I have gotten to go to school sweatdrop I am lucky enough to attend a wireless campus where the school gives everyone a laptop ( I got a Mac powerbook G4 OSX!!) and it comes with all the great programs like Photoshop CS and all the other Adobe CS programs. Oh can't forget Dreamweaver MX.! It's a great school for graphic art majors in Wisconsin and I am happy to be going there! Can't wait to post more here and see all the talent! xd

Hi everyone, I'm Rock [A.K.A. "Gemini", A.K.A. "weecho"] I joined this guild in order to pick up a couple of hints so that my design work can be at its best. I love making art on computers and hopefuly, one day, I can do it for a job.
I live in Texas and am 17, so the whole 'find your college' thing has been going on for a while now. If anyone has ANY suggestions as to a good Architecture/Design college in Texas, please contact me. Thank you all for accepting me into this guild, I'll see you all around.

Hi! I'm Dys (or Heidi if you prefer xd ). Well, I heart Photoshop, and I would have to say graphic art is my favorite form of art despite my involvement in drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. I have been using Photoshop since I was very young (6 or so xp , due to my step-dad's influence [advertising graphic designer]) and I have worked with web design for about five years. Another interest of mine is music, whether that be creating, playing (I play Bb Clarinet biggrin ) , or listening. Anyway, I am excited to be involved and to see others' works! Well I'm, Kuuroinochou or most simply call me Kuu! or Butterflyy...
I am currently station in Seattle and I go to ITT Technical Institute for Multimedia...
While that isn't all I'm interested in I do a bit of anime/manga art (which has been getting rusty over the years but I'm working on it), I do a bit of graphic design doodling here and there and much of what I've learned is also self taught.
Hopefully some day I'll get the necessary skills and degree to advance further in my feild. But for right now I'm doing what I can to set up a website and a portfolio.

Hey there. Well, I just got invited to the guild so I guess Ill start here biggrin . Well, I don't have as much experience doing a lot with graphic design aside from one high school yearlong course, but I just started college and next year I get to start em. Im working towards computer animation and improving my art skills in hopes of becoming a video game artist someday. biggrin .

Any'oos...
I've only been a graphics designer for about 7 months. Though, my main eye is on characterized focal points. Which causes a problem for me, seeing as how most of my stuff is of "illegal" work. Well, not really illegal, more like take-the-damn-image-and-use-it sort of thing. Of course, thats frowned upon by Deviantart. xD I've had at least 7 images taken down because of that, but I always seem to slip past them once in a while. :] *is so bad*
At the moment, its just a really obsessive hobby. Graphics Design as a profession? Not unless I get amazingly good.

Anyways, hi biggrin . I'm female, 15 years old and you can call me Summanaro, or Summ for short.
One fine day couple years back I got the trial for PSP7, fell in love with it, and bought it. I ended up using it to it's full potential. Then I upgraded to PSP8, for really only 2 reasons. The brushes and look. I used to do wallpapers like crazy, had a few good ones, but after awhile cropping became such a chore, thus it got boring. I also used to make signatures, that again, got boring. So now I just make plain designs, that don't really represent anything than some nifty bg and some text. Someday I hope to tend the Art Insitute of Seattle and become a graphics artist.
I also draw pretty well, but there is still much to learn!! I can only draw in the anime type style, I want to draw more realistically. I find realism beautiful. smile

Wow. Hey everybody. My username is delicio, as you are probably able to see next to my avatar, and I'm from the GD. I was invited here--not entirely sure why, but nonetheless--I am something of an illustrator, if doodling and tinkering with Photoshop counts. Nice to be here.

I've been a memeber of this guild for awhile now, and I don't think I've ever introduced myself here. I'm a newbie, in all aspects. I've been drawing for little over a year now. It's just somthing I picked up from my friend, that I decided to give a try. And of course there is my photoshop. I enjoy making "Blends", and I'm currently working on getting my website up and running with a new layout, but I never find time to work on it anymore. *tear* I know. I do some Computer coloring on my pictures, and I enjoy my graphic arts class (High school style. xD Go us youngins!) I love this guild. And I love it's E-zine. It has all been very helpful to such a newbie as myself. Hey people! I'm new here obviously, and I was referred here by Raine Dragon. xD I started out graphics with Paint, where I edited images and I slowly worked up to making new graphics. I don't use some sort of expensive program like Photoshop, but I'm happy with PSP 8. Well. I'm more into CGing and bannering, but I'm up to anything people throw at me. Oh. And I'm in high school.
