Hi! I'm Rose, but most everyone calls me Planck, Planckton, Dinker (deriv. Dingledork) or Danny. There are a whole helluva lot more, but I won't go into those, seeing as it might take... oh, say a day or two to list them all.
I'm a college physics student in Texas, where I consume huge quantities of uber-greasy Mexican food with my buddies. I can eat one and a half large pizzas and drink two liters of coke in under an hour. Proud of that. And my repertoir of scifi trivia is impressive. Quiz me! StarTrek, Stargate, Doctor Who, Infinitum, Down and Over, The Good Ship Marley Biggers, X-Files... Those are my faves. I'm a pretty recent recruit to the DW mass of raging fans, having been converted from a diehard trekkie by my Uncle Max, who literally duct taped me to a chair and forced me to watch three straight seasons.
My goal in life is to create a means of cheap and easy interstellar travel, and I'm working my butt off to get into SETI. Could I get any dweebier? Probably not, but that's okay, because dweebs are the ones who go farthest in life, right? Hyperspace and temporal paradox are my pet hobbies, and scerw Einstein and Hawking and all the rest of the scientific pessimists.

Hello all. My name is R.A. or Kageka - whichever. I was born in America in the late 80s, so I never had a chance to see Doctor Who as a child. But I watch the Sci Fi channel lots and when I saw the ad for Doctor Who my first reaction was "British sci fi! Yay!" because I LOVE British humor. So we watched the episode Rose and I've been hooked ever since. So, being a typical American, I looked on YouTube and have all the David Tennant Doctor Who episodes saved on my favorites, and have seen most of them at least twice, some more than that. Then I bought the first season DVDs as soon as I had enough money and watched it every afternoon until I'd seen all the episodes at least once, some two or three times. And because of that, all of my family is hooked on Doctor Who as well.
I would like to see the older Doctor Who sometime, but that might be hard considering I'm off to college in a year. (And I shall be getting my roommate hooked on Doctor Who, whoever she may be) Unless someone can point me to a nice free place to watch the episodes online.
So, since I have only seen the Ninth and Tenth Doctors, I have to say that my favorite switches day by day. I'm leaning toward the Tenth at the moment, but that may change.
As for my other interests, I am also a huge fan of the American TV show Numb3rs.I read, write, and play Sudoku for fun. I also have a job at the local Barnes and Noble, the money coming from which only feeds my Doctor Who, Numb3rs, and Sudoku addictions.
That was probably more about me than you ever wanted to know, but I don't care because I'm sitting in Web and Graphic Design, with not enough room on my school drive to work on my sound editing project and my hands are getting cold, so I had to do something.
And class is about to end, so I'm off.

I am Sword of Fate, AKA Jordan, AKA that Geek Over There. My best friend since 2nd grade (well, really since 3rd grade; we were mortal enemies in 2nd) stayed over at my house the night that the Christmas Invasion aired in the US and made me watch it. I've seen every episode since then (and will soon see more, because he's bringing old episodes with him to my Halloween/Samhain party on Saturday) and am officially obsessed. The Tenth Doctor is my favorite, if only because he's the only one I've seen (and he is impossibly good-looking). So far, School Reunion is my favorite episode. I am against any romantic pairing of the Doctor with Rose or any of his other companions, for reasons that would take days to explain. My absolute favorite quote (Immediately after seeing the Christmas invasion, I looked up Doctor Who on Wikiquote) from Doctor Who, not counting the one that is in my sig, is "Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks, 'Ooo, this could be a little more sonic?" My life outside of the computer and TV does not exist. (And have you noticed I like parentheses?)
