How the hell is it my fault? Everything my brother does it my fault! What the ********? Am I suppose to watch him 24/7 while you go and enjoy yourself? Ok, he peed on the carpet, yes I was watching him but am I suppose to have a 6th sense that tells me "Oh! He's gonnna pee, better get him to the washroom". I"M NOT SUPERMAN! Holy crap! Don't give my that s**t about how I wanted a brother! I DID NOT! I said I never wanted one, I have siblings, I wanted a puppy. I'm sorry if puppy sounds like brother to you but it doesn't! If you wanted to have another kid then watch him yourself, don't give all the ******** responsibility to me. Oh wow he's playing with my scissors, does that make it my fault? NO! You were the one watching him, stop him! For god sakes you are 30 years older than him, can you not stop a 2 years old toddler? stare Yeah, ok, I'm his big sister, I'm 10 years older but when he goes into my room and turns it into a pigpen you'd think I'd be mad! Don't "He's just a kid" me! Are you just a kid? No! Then you should've done something. I don't want to come home everday and find that a tornado went threw my room, is that understood? Obviously not! I did not want I brother, I don't want a brother and I NEVER will want a ******** brother! Stupid brat.

I did not want I brother, I don't want a brother and I NEVER will want a ******** brother! Stupid brat. You've just gotta discipline him right. Daily beatings, threats, blackmail - the works. Hell it worked on my brother, and he turned out great! So it should do the trick with yours (although you should probably wait until he's a bit older before commencing the beatings). biggrin
And with that I must announce that my dad is a heartless b*****d! I only really noticed recently, but every time we walk past a homeless person he'll point at them and grin menacingly. Then he'll make jokes about the homeless, in chinese obviously, before he tells my brother and I that that's how we'll turn out without a good education. It just pisses me off to see how he can mock the impoverished when he was once a poor refugee.

I can''t stand hearing about religion from (mostly Christian) zealots who are intent on recruiting you for conversion. They seem so blind to arguements against their religious beliefs and that only compounds my frustration with them... so please allow me to explain why proselytisation, conversion efforts, or the free exercise of the Great Commission shouldn''t be allowed on Gaia or anywhere else.
1. Jesus, as well as Leviticus 19, both contain a teaching known as the Golden Rule (or the Ethic of Reciprocity.) This states "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." In this light, should it be acceptable for Muslim, Buddhist, or atheist preachers to attempt to convert you?
2. The motivation behind any conversion attempt is a presupposition that yer own religious opinion is The Truth, and that the opinion of the other fellow must necessarily be wrong. To act in a manner that dismisses the other fellow''s viewpoints out of hand is inflammatory and can be considered Trolling.
3. Even given the above, if we were to allow them to engage in this activity, we would have to allow it for all religions. This would include religions inimical to your own, such as Islam, Asatru, Wicca, atheism, and heck I''ll throw in Jedi for good measure; but it would also include that category of sects you call "Dangerous Cults."
But how can we judge whether any given sect is a reasonable religion, or a Dangerous Cult? We can''t; therefore, we disallow conversion activities as practiced by *any* and everyone.
Now, what you are allowed to do is to debate theological points in the discussion forums, most notably Morality & Religion. Discussion of such topics is fine, and the Proverbial advice "Come, let us reason together" can certainly lead to the soul-winning you would attempt; but outright preaching is right out.
God is a troll.
Thank you, good night. *gets struck by lightning*

I tried reasoning with this girl who was trying to convert me and my first question was: "How can you believe in that crap?" (Sorry if anybody is a christian, but that's exactly what I said). She answered by saying hesitantly, "I didn't believe in it at first... but then I slowly did." Riiiiiight. confused Well I couldn't see things from her perspective, blindly believing in something that might not exist. I'm more sceptical, which is why in the battle between religion and science, I choose science - the logical choice.

I confronted and shamed her the other day on a three-way speakerphone call with lots of other family members on the line. I said, "... we're all family, why do you keep trying to convert us? I'm the mean one in my family. twisted haha 3nodding not neccesarily sure what the falun dafa cult is but really religion... don't care. but anyway cults are dangerous when you start preaching things that is along the lines of "the government is the agent of the devil we must stand agains them." or "Beware of those who blah blah blah" oops lost track of thought hehe sweatdrop anyways i asked a friend how she could actually belive this stuff expecially there isn't that much logic or evidence in it (in my opinion) aside from witnesses on crack (in my opinion) and she said that the point of faith is to be able to belive even though there is no solid evidence. I suppose there's some logic in that. and some thing that confuses me about the bible. If one of god's 10 commandments was "thou shalt not kill" then why did he order all the christians to kill the "heathens" in the holy land? either someone's been lying or that commandments should be written to say "thou shalt not kill unless thou kills a non-christian." And I think that faith is part of religion. But so is fear. Like the fear of going to hell instead of heaven. which makes me think. There are alot of people in the world and alot of them are christians. Is heaven really big enough to hold every body? eek well that's my 2 cents worth (okay maybe 1/2 a cent lol. )
