More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie raised a brow as she turned herself into liquid for her own protection, she didn't trust Theonis in this stalemate. "Most likely it won't work," Annie said., "And I could turn your blood into hydrochloric acid, but I won't do that unless you give me a reason to. I have killed people before as well, another dead person to reach my objective doesn't bother me nearly as much as it should."

"Anyhow," Annie said pushing her hair behind her ear, a liquid strand behind a liquid ear, "Don't expect me to sit still either if Trinity is actually succeeding in capturing or killing him. However," Annie said glancing over her shoulder at the fight between Shane and Trinity, "as long as it is going on with neither side making headway I see no reason to get involved."

Perfect...now I can detonate or compress her if I need to
"So what happens after you...accomplish what you came here with him to do? He will keep on killing people and will be put down eventually or are you going to protect him while he keeps on murdering people?" Theonis asked.

"Also...just out of curiosity... what happens to you if your current form explodes?"

Shane retracts the attack and pulls his arm out of the ground just as Trinity launches her uppercut. He leans back and dodges it easily, and blocks the incoming roundhouse kick with his arm. What he wasn't expecting was the following two kicks to his midsection and leg. He takes the hits and stumbles, gritting his teeth and growling at her.

He should have expected this, she was trained by the shadow twins. They were no slouches when it came to hand to hand fighting. Shane glares at Trinity and holds his arms out to the side. Starting from his shoulder his arms begin to shift and change down to his hands. With one flexing of his fingers, talons forged from his bones explodes from his hand where his fingers should be.

He lungs at Trinity, making repeated slashes at her with is hands at speeds comparable to her trainers. However, they are wild and animalistic, a clear sign that he has had no formal training in hand to hand fighting.

Attacking him head on wasn't the smartest thing to do. But she knew she had to make sure that he'd stay away from Theonis.

Trinity was used to his speed and she found it easier to dodge because there wasn't much thought put behind his actions. She dodged leaning back lands on her hands and brought both feet up hitting him as they did. She dived down into her shadow and comes back up with an open hand fist to his chest. She brings her knee at his mid section then tried pushing him back with her foot.

Attacking him head on wasn't the smartest thing to do. But she knew she had to make sure that he'd stay away from Theonis.

Trinity was used to his speed and she found it easier to dodge because there wasn't much thought put behind his actions. She dodged leaning back lands on her hands and brought both feet up hitting him as they did. She dived down into her shadow and comes back up with an open hand fist to his chest. She brings her knee at his mid section then tried pushing him back with her foot.

Shane barely manages to bright his hands up in time to stop her feet from plowing into his face. He sees her dive into her shadow and anticipates the coming attack. Once more his hands come up to block the attack at his chest.

He opens up his defense to see past his hands just as Trinity's foot comes into contact with his solar plexus. His flesh gives way and catches her foot like a puddle of mud. His right arm changes into a tentacle and wraps around her ankle. He pulls her out of his chest and slings her toward the diner.

She flew toward a car but twisted her body so she'd land on her feet. The car shifted under her weight. Then she looked toward Shane, his shadow began to feel like tar. Hands come up from behind him from the shadow of the car attempting to grab his talons and pull them. A rope tried to wrap around his neck to pull him down and slam him into the car.

Shane is caught off guard by the shadows. He is thrown back into the car hard, leaving a large dent in it. However, he raises from the fold and dusts himself off. He cracks his neck and takes a second to contemplate his situation.

He is at an obvious disadvantage when it comes to melee. Her powers have evolved past the point where she has to stay in contact with a shadow to control it. He was hoping to avoid having to expend too much biomass using large moves. He considers taking the fight into the air, something she probably isn't used to. Then again, maybe if he can get into her head. He chuckles to himself, then starts laughing out loud.

"You realize this is only going to make it worse, right? The more damage you do to me, the more living bio-organic material I need to consume in order to stay alive."

"Besides, you wont be able to beat me. I imagine you've had to shadow travel a few times today already. From what I can remember, that takes more out of you shadow users than anything else. I can do this all day after having consumed the manager last night and the Daedalus agent a few minutes ago. Surely the machine showed you what I am capable of, or at least what she's managed to scrounge up from archive footage and her own encounters."

"So what will it be? Walk away, or do I take the gloves off?"

Kerana

Kerana was glad that they could do both. After she got her gym wear on she tied her shoes really tight. "Okay ready when you are!" she said with a thumbs up.

Deora looked at Kerana's sports wear, and had second thoughts about her own clothes. While she liked her current outfit, she had to admit that jeans weren't much good for any kind of workout. "Un momento, I think I'd better change, too." She said as she went to the closet. She asked it for a workout outfit, and tried to pick something out as quickly as she could. "Longer shorts, please. Ew, not that color. Next. Next. Oh, come on, now you're not even trying. Wait! That'll work!" She took a blue and black Nike soccer outfit down from the hangers and hurried to the bathroom to change. A little over a minute later she stepped out again, smiling. "Can't believe I almost forgot. It feels good to back in a soccer uniform. "

He's playing mind games again. Not this time... I could keep this up longer because shadow traveling doesn't effect me like it does my sanseis. Last time I had over used it, I barely have begun to shadow travel today. I've got more than enough energy right now to keep this up.

Her eyes glances at Theonis, she couldn't let this guy go, he'd only kill more innocents. Her eyes were glowing as she looks directly at Shane. "Gloves off!" and with that the shadow from the car flips it back landing on Shane.

She approaches the upside-down car "The only way I'm going back is with you or in a coffin."

Shane huffs underneath the car. Kitty's got claws, he thinks to himself. There is no way he can go easy on her. Gidget will hate him later, but she'll forgive him after she has a flesh and blood body again.

Shane's entire body becomes covered in a black biomass carapace. Even his eyes have a thin film on them to stay guarded. In a flash the car is sliced neatly in half. Shane stands, now a few inches taller then he was before. His right arm is one enormous blade from the elbow down. He glares down at Trinity, his face almost featureless save for the eyes.

His right arm changes back to normal, but begins an additional transformation along with his left arm. They seem normal to the naked eye, but the muscle mass is now much more dense.

He clasps the two halves of the car, one in each hand. His voices comes out as a hellish sliver, "A coffin it is then."

Shane slams the two halves of the car together like a pair of cymbals, sandwiching Trinity between them.

"I will worry about what happens with Shane latter, I want to get my son from Daedalus first," Annie replied. "I'm not stupid. I know he's changed but I'll worry about Shane after I get my son back."

Her eyes then widened when he asked her what would happen if her current form explodes, Daedalus tried that experiment once and it hadn't killed her but it probably was one of the more uncomfortable experiences in her lives. It had taken her a few minutes to reunite her body, though.

The moisture in the air began to collect in the air around Theonis, harmless water for now, "As long as Shane is with me heading to Daedalus the casualties would have been minimum at worst: you two are only going to make things worse for everyone."

"Your...son?" Theonis hesitantly said. Any hostility he had towards her seemed to have vanished.
She was just doing this to get her kid back How the hell can my reasons and motivation compare to hers? Ah s**t...
He sighed and decided to watch Trinity instead. She seemed to be doing fine for now.

"If things were different I'd have helped you get your son back and take out their base. I really would" Theonis confessed. But then something happened that he didn't see coming. Shane transformed and was about to crush Trinity. He had to step in.

"I'm sorry!" He shouted out as he released a strong wave of pressure away from him that would blast away both the water around him and splatter Annie in her current form. Pulling something away was something he hadn't done before on human scale. But he had done it before on smaller stuff. Whatever the case, he didn't have the time nor luxury to think it through.

"Trinity! Brace yourself!"

Using his power he quickly pulled Trinity away out of range of the slamming cars. When she was still being pulled towards him he let her momentum do the rest.

"You! Down!" He shouted at Shane and he increased the gravity around him by tenfold.

Annie wasn't expecting the blast, and felt her liquid body being torn into hundreds of pieces. She winced at the odd sensation, though being able to wince wasn't something that lasted long.

Immediately as she was blasted apart she began to reunite her liquid body. She was furious at herself for trusting her liquid body to protect her, yes it did protect her, but it also incapacitated her from a fight for a couple of minutes.

As she built her body together she prayed that Shane would take care of Trinity, hopefully not killing her. Then again the nerve of Theonis to block her from her goals made her almost want to kill him.

Shane transformed and was about to crush Trinity. He had to step in.

"I'm sorry!" He shouted out as he released a strong wave of pressure away from him that would blast away both the water around him and splatter Annie in her current form. Pulling something away was something he hadn't done before on human scale. But he had done it before on smaller stuff. Whatever the case, he didn't have the time nor luxury to think it through.

"Trinity! Brace yourself!"

Using his power he quickly pulled Trinity away out of range of the slamming cars. When she was still being pulled towards him he let her momentum do the rest.

"You! Down!" He shouted at Shane and he increased the gravity around him by tenfold.

Trinity was ready to jump and go into the shadows of the car when suddenly she was pulled. She heard Theonis and braced herself. When she was safe she looked up and saw Theonis challenging Shane.

Trinity will always need to be connected to a shadow. On the car although there wasn't a shadow on the car, only a reflection. The one she was connected to was in her coat. So to Shane it may look like she didn't need to be connected to a shadow to manipulate it but the rule still applied, even to her.

She bit her lip as she watched Theonis I hope you know what you're doing.
