Blood_Wolf1 Alchemist673 Hi, I'm Alchemist. I'm actually a closet furry, since here in Delaware, if somebody is labeled a furry, they're ridiculed to no end. I'm kinda split between two fursonas that I really like. One is a Dragonborn (like an antro dragon... it's from D&D) and the other is an Arctic Wolf. I've been looking for a place where I don't have to hide what/who I am, and I think I've finally found it. I've never heard of Delaware fur being messed with. It's more of the fact that I'm in a small school (military academy), and I'm usually, to my chagrin, a hot topic. So if people found out I was a furry, I'd be assaulted endlessly with the usual questions, like "Are you gay?", "What's a furry?", and one of my personal "favorites", "Isn't that some kind of weird sex fetish?". Oh, how 14-18 year old people can be cruel. But I think I'm gonna join the Furst State...

That's the way the public is about furries or anything they don't know. They judge without knowing what furries really are. They only know about the CSI episode. But anyway, I'm a member of the Furst State and it's nothing but good people! ^^ |

Well, I told two of the three freshmen that I "adopted" (I mentor them, and then they find a freshman to mentor next year, etc.), and luckily, they didn't know what a furry was, so I was able to give them an explanation and it felt good to not have to hide it around them. |

Hey, I'm new. When I found out about furries 3 years ago, I thought they were really awesome, and I still do! Yeah, I love furries, but I could be considered a closet furry, since no one but me knows that I am one. What's sad is that the town that I live in is completely clueless to the internet world, at least the people I know are clueless, and I don't feel like sharing the info I know, because everyone I know would say one thing:
"What the heck is wrong with you?"
Yeah, it would be just like that. I'm done with my talking, seriously.
