ENDLESS JOURNEYS (O/A)

[Nova Blancke]

Nova had folded his arms on the table as he listened. He simply nodded with a deep sigh.

"That I can do, my friend. That well was on my list. Hopefully I will be able to remember where that is by the time we get there. If she truly is as frightened as you say....then this certainly draws concern. The last time I've seen her frightened was when my curse showed itself in the old days running the skies with you."  

[Nova Blancke]

"Keleth!" Ruby giggled as she tried to shield herself from the water that was splashed at her. Her own barrage of splashes began. But her little arms could only do so much.

Keleth squeed and tried to shield herself too while splashing with one hand. "Wah!"

Then she had a fun idea. "Hey Ruby. Wanna know what it feels like to fly?"

Nova Blancke

"Yes, that's right. And if he is lucky, he can meet her in a next life. So don't pity him. Just make sure it is not in vain." Lexi responded.

"Hopefully he will meet her in his next life." She smirked as she watched Keleth canonballed into the water with Ruby, or more like bouldered? "Well I guess we should join your heart and see what other trouble he's stirred up." She said jokingly. It seems she was as good as new the talk really helped.  

[Nova Blancke]

"He does had a tendency to speak his mind despite knowing the consequences." Lexi responded."And we have yet to finish our part of the feast."

"I know how to do that!"Ruby squealed as she swam towards the edge of the river. She then leaped out and climbed that same tree. It didn't take her long to reach the highest point from which she jumped with her legs and arms spread wide.

Keleth beamed and hollared for the "flying" dragon-kin. It was at that moment that she lamented the lack of a younger sibling. But also at that moment she felt absolutely no weight on her shoulders. She hoped the upcoming adventure would maintain her high spirits.

"Yeah! Fly Ruby!"

Zephyr sighed with appreciation, "Thank you, Nova."

Finally, he turned his attention to Kerana. "Do you have anything you'd like to ask me or tell me?"

The wind wolf solemnly shook his head. "I'm sorry, Kerana, but that is beyond my capability. I merely feel what The Great Wolf Mother feels. I do know this, though: relations between wolf and fox are reaching a boiling point. But so long as you and Alec remain together, there is a binding that keeps wolf and fox together."  

[Nova Blancke]

Nova looked down a up before facing the wolf spirit.

"Nothing in particular. But this is for you and Wolf Mother. I enjoyed the days of old and I miss those care free days. This could very well be the last time I get to say it. So thank you for those days." Nova spoke kindly.

It didn't take Lexi and Trinity long to get back to the group. Lexi quickly spotted the wolf spirit. She, however thought it was one of Nova's summons.

"Quit showing off. If you got time for that go find my brother. He should be with the rest tracking the Earth Diver." Lexi commanded.

"Is it the season already?"Nova asked curiously.

"No, it seems this one is driven out of the pack."

"Huh....I suppose they could use the help. It does have dragon's blood."  

[Nova Blancke]

"Oh it is not important that it has it. It just simply has it. They are related to Earth Dragons. They resemble a mole, only covered in scales, with claws that can easily dig through rock. It is like they can swim through the very earth. Every year a pack of comes through this area. They can ravage the city so we hunt them. It's mostly to scare them off since it is hard to take one down but the meat is one of the best I've ever tasted. Plus they use the claws and scales for various things. Every part of it really, so nothing goes to waste." Nova explained.

"You could try and help kill it. If we are that lucky." Nova replied.
