More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Dr. Berchant turns at the question and was about to rebuke the man for bothering him when he heard screams from the room Annie was in.

As Dr. Berchant turned, Annie smiled at Jones who was still trying to stare down her shirt. Closing her eyes she focused on the man's blood converting it into acid. Jones began to scream, "Doctor! She's attacking me!"

"So much for staying below 27 today," muttered Annie.

The doctor whipped his head towards the window and swore under his breath and ordered into his microphone, "Lock down." The door to the room Annie was in sealed shut. Meanwhile, the doctor turned back to Shane pulling out a pistol from his pocket, with shaking hands he held the gun at Shane knowing if his guess was right the pistol would have little affect, "You're an impostor, aren't you? Let me guess: Shane Morris?"

Shane pulls the hoodie back to reveal his face. "In the bio flesh. And you must be the protégés of Dr. Acula, the man who did this to me. You share his unhealthy obsession with metahuman development. Now, if you want to live I suggest you cooperate. I can always consume you to get the answers I want but…just a moment."

Shane points his finger at the glass behind Berchant. Like a flash, his finger extends into a pike and punches a small hole in the shatter resistant glass. He retracts his finger and shouts to Annie, "Can you squeeze through that?"

Dr. Berchant laughed slightly, "Yes, but Annabella would hate you forever if you killed me. See there is a chip that is connected to me and where Christian is. If I am killed where Annabella's and my son is blows up. Our son unfortunately didn't inherit his mother's ability to turn into liquid."

While Dr. Berchant spoke Annie slipped through the crack in the window in her liquid form. Solidifying she grabbed a hold of Dr. Berchant's tie and a slap was sounded in the room from where her hand made contact with his face.

His hand flew up to his red cheek and he stared at her somewhat surprised. Annie meanwhile took a deep breath and said, "I feel a little bit better now." Tossing her auburn hair over her shoulder she added, "So, we can't kill you. But that doesn't mean I cannot disfigure you so much that Christian won't even recognize you."

A harsh eye stared at Amanda as she spoke, the blood red eye squinting at her question. Slowly the single eye gaze lowered to look at the brother, as if waiting to see his response. "..." The dark eyes just stared at the stranger, as if uncomfortable in speaking himself. "..I..-"

"Yes, the boy is a healer. Why?" Orion snapped, the question appropriate considering how important the young boy was to him. He felt the fingers at his side become interwined within the smaller hands the gesture causing the older brother to merely glance at his younger counterpart. "...is he needed?" The voice questioned once more, he however would go with the brother if he was... He wouldn't let some people he didn't know...watch over him.

"She didn't say who....but this does mean that she won't stop for anything. At least I've learned some things about her power." Theonis said with a shrug.

His playful look appeared again."But that aside...I believe we were in the middle of something before? "

He couldn't help it. Right now he couldn't help wanting her.

"Yes, the boy is a healer. Why?" Orion snapped, the question appropriate considering how important the young boy was to him. He felt the fingers at his side become interwined within the smaller hands the gesture causing the older brother to merely glance at his younger counterpart. "...is he needed?" The voice questioned once more, he however would go with the brother if he was... He wouldn't let some people he didn't know...watch over him.

Amanda nodded quickly, "All the other healers are on their way back from an incident in a diner that Shane attacked. Monica, the only healer here needs time to recover her energy. This way..."Amanda lead them toward where Theonis and Trinity are.

"She didn't say who....but this does mean that she won't stop for anything. At least I've learned some things about her power." Theonis said with a shrug.

His playful look appeared again."But that aside...I believe we were in the middle of something before? "

He couldn't help it. Right now he couldn't help wanting her.

Shivers went down her spine as the invitation to continue what they were doing before was issued. Her hand held the back of his head and she gave him a long kiss.

Amanda got to the room first and cleared her throat "ahem, I found a healer."

At the sound of her throat clearing Trinity pulled back and got off the bed. She looked at him longingly but knew she had to get back to work. "I'll come back later... I must go..." she picked up her coat and let out a sigh as she put it back on. "Ge well soon." with that she dropped through her shadow and went to Gidget's lab to see if she could locate the three girls somehow.

Her words struck a nerve, who was she to think they would just take orders without a request for their assistance? "I do not mind if my brother helps you." There was a pause as he began to walk after her, his eyebrows narrowing it a slight annoyance. "But I would appreciate if you were to use manners when going about it. Like tell us where you are taking us, and making sure the boy is fine before you assume he's okay and ready to heal." Orion was peeved, he felt like she had overstepped her authority, but either way he followed her and naturally the young boy followed as well.

Wrapping the small fingertips around the brothers hand he kept quiet, Orion was oddly doing the talking. And it was obvious to the young child who has known the man for all his life that the girl had struck one of his many many nerves. "..." Refraining from speaking he wouldn't step over the brothers words by insisting he was alright, Orion was just trying to get a point across... "Gross..Orion...Trinity has Cooties now, don't touch her kay?" The young child stuck his tongue out playfully at the older man, but his response however made the tongue sink right back into the young boys mouth.

"...why would I touch her?" There was so much going on, and people still found a way to 'satisfy themselves.' It's disgusting. The red eyebrows narrowed slightly at the very thought of someone putting relationships before their duty as a..well...whatever they are. Though, Orion would put Apollo over everyone else as he is the only thing he deems worthy enough, or important enough to him as a person. Either way, he didn't love or care for anyone other than the boy that stood by his side.

The sound of his angered screams echoed in the church, causing the pigeons that made the rafters their home fly away with scared coos and the fluttering of their wings. Jordan Knightly stood at the alter looking out towards the pews of the church. He was angered by something, and the lines of his face darkened by the shadows and the light that shown through the broken stained glass windows. He closed his eyes for a few moments before letting go of the alter and hitting hard with his fist. Rolling his head side to side, cracking and loosening his neck and slipped back into the shadows that resided in the church. Going towards the large figure of the crucifix on the back wall he looked up at it.

Reaching into his pocket he withdrew a highly warn wooden rosary. There he stood with, the rosary slowly turning under his touch. Every little wooden bead reminded him of what he has done, and what was about to come. The scowl on his face turned to something that of a soothing smile. Moment later he moved into the shadows entirely and away from the crucifix, and into the room off to the side. There he sat at the table with the pitcher of wine and poured himself a glass; sipping it lightly while he turned the rosary still in the other hand.

Erin yawned as she flipped through on of the magazines. Today was her day off of all days and she sighed. She sat on her back patio of the apartment she had enjoying the breeze and the sound it made through the tree that helped shade portion of the concrete slab. She squealed in delight and jumped up. Her skate shop was mentioned in the magazine. Erin never had this happen before, and she knew with that kind of publicity, it would mean more business, and with more business meant hiring more people than just the four positions that continuously rotated between kids and people her age from the college. and her who has been running it for the last couple of years.

Going inside she tossed the magazine on to the counter and slipped her shoes on. Grabbing her skate board, house keys, cellphone, and wallet; Erin decided it was a good time to let some of this excitement turn into energy and fun. Scratching her cat Pike back quickly she left the apartment and took off out of the complex on the board. Destined for hopefully one of the skate parks, and also the grocery store for some nibbles when returning home.

Tansy smiled. She looked aroud the room almost in awe. Her head was empty. There were no longer those voices in the back of her head. It was almost to quite. After listening to them or years, the silence was strangely errie. She frowned slightly as she looked at the young boy, then up to Gigdet. "Why? What did you see?" She wasn't sure if she wanted to know, but she needed to.

Shane walks up close to the Dr. as his right hand changes into it's talon shape. "I've had lots of practice keeping people alive on the verge of death Berchant. You'd be surprised what a human can live through."

He scrapes his talons across the wall, leaving a clean scrape behind them.

Tansy smiled. She looked around the room almost in awe. Her head was empty. There were no longer those voices in the back of her head. It was almost to quite. After listening to them or years, the silence was strangely eerie. She frowned slightly as she looked at the young boy, then up to Gigdet. "Why? What did you see?" She wasn't sure if she wanted to know, but she needed to.

"I saw the man that created your dark prison and Angel. A preacher named Jordan Knightly. Tansy...you remember how bad Charles Ray was? This guy is worse. Ray works on logic, but this guy is driven by mad ambition. Does the name ring a bell?"

Dr. Berchant literally gulped at Shane's and Annie's words. The pistol in his hand he still held shook before he took a deep breath and sat the pistol on the ground. All the pistol would serve is to anger the two in front of him. "Come on, Annabella, you cannot be serious about wanting to hurt the father of your child," Dr. Berchant said laughing nervously.

Annie gave him an incredulous look that said it all: yes, yes she did want to hurt him.

"Right..." he muttered. His blue eyes darting between the two he demanded, "What is it you two want from me?"

Ahh why's she have to come in now? Things were just getting good.

Theonis gave Trinity a wink just before she left. He knew she had a job to do and wasn't going to complain about it. Certainly not after what happened just now. Theonis then noticed the two other people. The ones he ran into earlier this morning. The older one didn't look like the healing type.

"Oh hey, whats up?" Theonis said feeling a lot more talkative then this morning

Trinity got to Gidget's lab although she got there, she really wanted to go back to Theonis. Alas, there wasn't time for that now she needed to find out where the three girls are and perhaps get with Kodak to see if he could gain access to the security cameras of the motel and the diner. Since Gidget was probably with Tansy still. She wasn't sure if she could hack a security camera system as well as Gidget or Kodak, it seemed to be their specialty.

First she starts with a search of the last time Shane used an ATM. It started processing the search, then zoomed in. While it was processing, her mind drifted to Theonis earlier and bit her thumb as she thought of how much she enjoyed it. Then snapped out of it when she realized the computer was done. This is going to be hard to focus on if my mind keeps drifting to him... she sighed and took a closer look to where the ATM was. It seemed to look like some sort of safe house.I suppose that would make sense... She had a good sense of where that area was.

She shift gears, dropped through her shadow and emerged from Kodak's shadow. "Good Afternoon Kodak. I need you to look up something for me."

Kodak had been taking a sip from his drink when Trinity popped in. He takes a hard swallow and coughs. Soda squirts out from his nose as he tries to catch his breath. After a few minutes he is finally able to speak.

"Y'know ma'am, there isn't anyone stopping you from using doors on occasion. What can I find for you?"
