Courtyard (South)

[Kara Kimari]

Kara's head slid gently off the tree trunk that she had been resting against and woke her instantly. She had aparently fallin asleep again while still drawing in her sketchbook. As she sat up, she shut her eyes and stretched, shaking the sleep out of her eyes as she opened them again and looked around to see who was there.

Terry growled to himself "geeze this place has nothing to do..." and took his iPod out of his pocket. It was black with white glossy marks on it that terry painted on the iPod himself. He pulled out the headphones and tried to untangle the knote in them before he hooked everything up, and switched it to a random song. He watched people walk by and talk while he was laying on his side facing the large fountian in the middle of the courtard.

"Why wouldn't I be?" She grinned at him again, "Well, I was just thinking we could hang out here, walk around a bit." After which she shrugged. "Like I said, I just wanna hang out with you." After which she grabbed his arm and started running off, pulling him in a random direction within the courtyard. [[The Italics were thoughts right?]]

"Where the hell are you taking meeee." His body lifted off of the ground as she pulled him in this radom direction. Ashitaka finally landed on his feet and stopped her. He looked at her. " Now, if you wouldn't mind telling me where wer'e going."

Rake, following his map, came upon the southern courtyard. He watched the boy with the ipod first, using the music to shut out the rest of the world. Rake sat on a bench and leaned his head back to look at the sky though a few green branches.
"Being by yourself sucks", he thought. "Maybe its time to do something drastic." He streched out his long legs and crossed his feet, letting his head roll back lazily on the bench. He brushed his grey hair out of the way of his right eye for once, no one was paying attention to him now so its not like anyone would see his mismatched eyes.
Rake begain to blow smoke rings...without a cigerette.  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu entered the courtyard, cane tapping against the ground. He didn't think he'd be coming back this way so soon, but he had nowhere else to go at the moment.

He looked around. There was a guy listening to music, a girl drawing in a sketchbook, and another guy blowing out smoke rings, rather... randomly. Come on, Kumizu. Be happy! Meet people! This and other bull (in his opinion), ran through his head.

He sighed. Why not? He walked over and sat down on the bench. After a moment, he said, "Nice trick."

Rake jerks his head up in the direction of the voice, accidently blowing a burst of smoke into his face!
"Uhaa! Sorry! You suprised me!" He sat up suddenly with a rather strange look on his face, his hair falling into his eyes again, luckily for rake, covering his right eye. "I really didn't think anyone would notice, haha... Everyone seems to be in their own little world around here, you know?"
He offers a hand out, "I'm Rake. Just transfered here today."  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu coughed, fanning the smoke from his face with his hand. "It's-cough-okay. Trust me, I've had worse." He shook Rake's hand. "Kumizu. I've been here about a week."

There was an awkward pause for a moment; at least, Kumizu felt awkward. He wasn't one for starting up conversations. He had only recently learned to trust someone around here enough to talk to them. "So... what are you here for?"

"Er...my last school was pretty much leveled in an earthquake. Sooo, they sent us all to whatever schools they could find for us. I was hoping I wouldn't be the only one here..." Rake was more than happy to do all the talking. He threw his hands behind his neck and relaxed again, He was happy to be around someone who noticed he existed.

"My last school was sort of...a training school for mercinaries, with an emphasis on people with special abilities... It wasn't nearly this big, or nice."

Seiya entered the courtyard and leaned against the wall.

She looked, if possible, even more beautiful today.

She wore a knee-length red plaid skirt with black knee highs and heeled black boots. A loose dress-up peasant top with the sleeves rolled back to her wrists. On her wrists she wore a silver chain bracelet that wrapped around multiple times and hung loosely from the left one and a simple silver charm bracelet, around her neck she wore a black choker with a pentacle dangling from it. In her ears she wore diamond studs of increasing size in all ten piercings. Her hair in tight ringlets was held back by her precious white headband.

"I wonder why...she always seems to be late."  

[Kumizu]

Even listening to Rake talk about his school, Kumizu couldn't help but smile. He'd meant the question to be about his arts, but he wasn't going to interrupt. The man seemed very relaxed. Kumizu envied him.

Kumizu smile disappeared when he heard that Rake was trained to be a mercenary. Admitting he had special abilities didn't surprise Kumizu, considering the fact that nearly everyone he'd met at this school did, as well as watching the man blow smoke. He put the smile back on. "Yeah, it is nice.... Well, are you continuing your mercenary training here?"  

[Flir]

"Eh. I don't know. I never wanted to be one. I was just there because my family did heavy research there. My sister was even a professor. I'm sort of the...black sheep of the family if you will." He leaned his head back again.

"All I really want to do is ride my bike you know? I don't really like to fight...and between you and me, I really suck at it." He laughed at the last part, "My friends always use to harass me when we were on missions. I was always the one dragging everyone down." He blew another thing ring of smoke.

"You see, bike stunts and breathing fire aren't exactly useful." He looked alittle grim, as he thought about it, but quickly changed his mind to something else. "There sure are alot of girls here~"  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu didn't let it show that he was relieved. The last thing he needed was.... He shook his head. Nope. No need to think about it.

"Well, I know what being the black sheep is like. Honestly, I've never ridden a bicycle. You'll have to teach me sometime. And hey, what you've got is useful. You know how many people make money just off riding bikes?"

Kumizu didn't know what else to say. Sure, he wanted to reassure Rake, but he wasn't exactly good with words.

"Bycicle?"
Rake let out a loud laugh, "No, no no! Motorbike!" He had a big grin on his face, "Its like my baby~" he says with a goofy look.
"I can teach you to ride it though. I'm not gonna be modest though, I'm pretty good at it." He looked really happy as he talked about it, apparently talking about his motorbike was all it took.

"I did some simple delivery jobs for a while, but thats not really what I want to do forever. But I don't make plans, Its more fun just to see what happens! Speaking of fun, what is there to do around here, I haven't had a chance to explore too much yet."  

[Kumizu]

Now Kumizu was embarrased, and let out a small laugh. "Yeah, I figured that you were good if you liked it as much as it seems." He wanted to say something almost sarcastic about not being modest, but Kumizu figured that he'd get on to a different subject.

"Well... um... there's a playground, a greenhouse, a food place, and hot springs. That's all I've been to."
