"It's too late," she cried along with him holding him tightly to her breast, refusing to let go. "You've already hurt me...time and time again...." she whispered and kissed him fiercly on the lips. She looked into his eyes as he asked her the last question. "Stupid," she mumbled, "You are so stupid. I love you, I always have since that one night we spent together, i have never stopped loving you!"

Saytur watched as the Fal'Cie dissipated by some unknown force of energy he felt. He knew distinctly that the energy came from some demonic form but was not sure what. He could not identify it. He panted from having decapacitated a Fal'Cie's head and he did not sheath his sword. He was still skeptical about their disappearance.

Saytur looked around. He saw many elven survivors and he bent to help them up. Some elf soldiers came running about the city yelling, "Gather the survivors in the infirmary!!" Saytur gave the elf a curt nod and grabbed as many survivors as he could and followed them to the infirmary.

"I know im stupid... I cant help it i am a fighter, that i seek to save everyone, rushing head on into things...." Taki cried.... he hated himself now, and the very way his body looked proved it. Crying softly he stood up and walked to his desk where one single photo stood, the only one every taken by the legendary Ooca of the Sky City. In it it showed a smiling Taki and Lilan, while taki held an infant Kiara in his arms. Picking it up he handed it to Liana. "Here you can have it, i dont deserve it, nor do i deserve to be called a father." Standing up Taki walked to the door and exited his room, heading for the Fal'Cie holding grounds where his Seven Fal'Cie stood waiting for his orders of attack. He may not deserve to be called a father, but that did not mean he would do what ever it took to protect Lilan and her daughter from the Fal'Cie, even if it killed him.

Lilians face was in shock when Taki gave her the photo. She placed her hand on her mouth, tears again streaming down her face. 'He still loved us,' she thought desperately to herself, finally feeling a hint of joy in her life. She looked up and saw Taki leave the room tense. "No wait," she said as she took a step forward and then collapsed from the loss of blood.

Taki had only taken two steps out of the room when he Lilan collapse. Whipping around he picked her up and regardless of the blood, but her on his bed and began to treat her for the blood loss. As she lay on his bed bleeding out, he tapped into his full power, the power of Ragnarok and in a single instant healed her of every wound on her body. "U scared me Lilan, i was afraid i was gonna lose you." a soft smile gracing his lips as he bent over her and kissed her deeply, shifting her body, accidently causing the rags of her clothing to fall off. Noticing this, Taki blushed and went over to the wardrobe in the corner and opened a secret compartment where Lilans old dresses he had hand made for her still were. Taking out a black one with gold trimming, designed to show off her beautiful body and compliment her eyes, he handed to her and turned around and left the room, standing while she changed, the blush on his face never leaving his cheeks. 'GOD DAMN SHES AS HOT AS EVER!!!' Inside however he was far more afraid cause he had tapped into ragnaroks power, yet at the same time he had felt something different about it. He did not understand it, but he knew that as long as Lilan was ok, it did not matter. "Ummm, Lilan you ok in there?" he asked?

Lilian smirked at his blush when he left the room to let her change. She was used to men seeing her naked, not in a perverse way but as a queen you had to bare yourself to your brethrn to show them that you are capable of leading a whole race. She did not blush at all when he had seen her. She ran her hands on her white skin to check for scars, there were none. She put the old dress on. It was on a bit too tightly but that was fine, she did not mind.

walking back in he saw her and smiled softly. "Lilan...your as lovely as ever" Walking over he hugged her close and kissed her softly on her lips passionately, his feelings for her overwealming her as she held her against him. "Lilan i have always loved you, i will now and forever, " Running his hair through her hair, it brought back so many fond memories. Looking caringly at her, he asked, "are you hungry dear?" He may have changed over the years but one thing had not. and that he was one bloody hell of a chief. 'Heh i still make a really mean salad after all.." With a smile he held out his hand gently for her to take.

Lilian smiled at his request and then bit her lip, an awfully annoying habit for her. "I would love to but I cannot. Times are hard now, I must return to my city and deal with its political problems. We were just recovering from a demon war before the Fal'Cie came. You can see how hard that will be for my people. I must show them that I am still strong and that they can stay strong as well," she said in a queenly commanding voice.

Taki grinned as he Felt Bartandelous vanish from his realm along with his armies. "well it seems that Mizore did her job, so i will be able to go with you for now." He had to laugh at what Mizore had gone off and done. Not ten minutes after giving birth to her third daughter she had geared up and infiltrated the Enemy camps and had set ups Void Mines around the entire parimeter without being detected. Needless to say Bartandelous had left so he did not lose his whole army trying to march on an attack. "I want to be with you my love so im coming with you no matter what." Taki told her in a commanding tone of his own, though a twinge of sarcasm in his. Giving her a deep kiss he grabbed her hand gently and opened a portal to the elven capital and walked through with her hand in hand.

Lilian smiled happily and squeezed his hand in confirmation of her love as well. As soon as they stepped through the portal, chaos surrounded them. Lilian could not help but gasp and run the the survivors on the floor and weeped for them. "It will be ok. You will survive. Come on now," She lifted one of hte female elves and told Taki. "Please help me gather survivors to the infirmary," she smiled at him to encourage his help.

Taki smiled and looked at her lovingly before snapping his fingers warping everyone within his sensory range who was injured to the infirmary and put his entire team of medics to work taking care of them. "Its a good thing i know how to warp people in danger my dear, alot of these people are in critical condition." Kissing her passionately he ran his hand through her hair and smiled softly at her. "I will help you anyway i can dear, i have alot of making up to do for you and I plan on making it up to you," he said while picking her up bridal style.

At this, Lilian blushed tremendously and looked away. She was not accustomed to blushing and still did not revel in the feeling whatsoever. "Um, please allow me to walk on my own two feet," she asked in a small shy voice. It was the same exact tone she had used when she first met Taki many years ago.

Then her thoughts went to Kiara. She had seen Kiara fully pregnant through the orb giving birth to her grandchild. "I am going to be a grandma," she whispered to herself in disbelief then laughed a bit...and then she cried. Lilian had been crying an awful lot these days, everything was falling on her. "I spoke very badly to Kiara the last I saw her. I could not believe she had become a demon...the star of hope...I convinced myself the day would never come that she would encounter a demon..." she said.

Taki laughed lightly at her words. "Yes well unfortunately the father of our grandchildren is a really big ********, parden my gnome." He then began to laugh heartily at that and kissed her cheek again. I know Kiara, she will be fine, but Fatalis does not like it when i get near her, he acts like a real a**, its taking all my control not to declare war on him.." He said a vicious smirk on his lips. "still our daughter is strong, she will do fine on her own, And i dont think Bartandelous will attack her when Mizore is stalking him." Giving another laugh he carriied her to the throne room and put her down on it lovingly. "I love you my beloved Queen, i will never leave your side." he put his hand on her lap and smiled as he began to channel magic into her body, making the queen relax and lean back in her throne. "my beloved Shushika, i will never leave you." before he kissed her as as passionately as possible.

Shiina saw the survivors dissappear and it sent shivers down her spine along with goosebumps. "Show me where they went," she spoke aloud to the spirits and they tugged at her hair to follow. She did as they told and walked through endless streets.

She had to stop and throw up on one corner, there was so much blood, she couldnt stand it any longer. She used her water magic to clean the streets of blood as she passed. "This will probably help," she murmured as she continued walking. Finally the spirits pointed to a tree building a few feet from her.

Shiina looked at the building, admiring the architecture of it. She had never seen anything like it in her life. She was inevitably a human but a strange one because she possessed the sight and magic water abilities. She sighed as she climbed the stairs and entered the building.

Inside was very chaotic. Elves were screaming in pain and nurses bustled around with herbal remedies. Some were singing for better health while others were being amputated. A single tear rolled down Shiina's cheek. She wiped it with her finger and looked at the tear strangely. Shiina had never cried in her life. "What is this?" she whispered to herself, unable to identify mourning in her soul.

Shiina shook her head and focused on the survivors. She went to the bed of an elven male who had many slashes across his stomach and looked very very pale. She placed a hand on his shoulder and commanded her water to heal his wounds.

Lilian frowned at the language he used. "I wouldn't describe him that way. He is rather honorable. He has never lied, that is for sure, but he does have his...ways," she chose her words carefully not to paint him in a negative tone. "Maybe you will see a different side of him at a later time," she said as she caressed his cheek.

He sat her on her throne and she smiled down on him. She began to have a peculiar feeling in her body that she hadnt felt in a long time as he laid his hands on her lap, then began to kiss her. Lilians features smoothed out as she kissed him as well.
