More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Lia frowned. "We have to go help them!" She cried out.

Jezebel groaned. "And what are we supposed to do?"

Lia turned on her sister. "Make their guns explode on them or something."

"Fine." She growled as she turned to Liv. "We need to get out there."

Liz shakes her head frantically. "No, it will be okay. We were told that if this place ever came under attack, to stay put and let the natural defenses do their thing."

One of the other kids looks at the monitor and asks, "Hey, did you guys see that? One of the Daedalus guys just disappeared. It looked like his shadows ate him."

When the she felt enough of them down, her voice came from the shadows of the room, it seemed to move from one side or the other. "Enough! Is this how Daedalus spends its spare time?! Scaring those seeking refuge?"

The Daedalus soldiers raise their weapons and scan the area. One of them shouts, "It has to be Trinity Smith. She's hiding in the shadows."

Their squad leader grabs his mobile radio and says into it, "Prototype hunter unit one to Daedalus HQ, Smith is here. I repeat, Smith is here. Deploy countermeasures Immediately."

A few seconds later, a figure raises from a shadow in the room. The woman's silhouette is slender and fit. Her animal ears twitch and turn as she gets a read of the area around her. Beneath her trench coat a wolf's tail remains still. With her hands in her pockets she steps into the light and starts sniffing the air.

Freya Soichi's eyes are cold and calculating, a far contrast from the jovial nature she used to portray. Her emotionless features make the hairs on the back of the soldiers necks stand on end. They could feel how dangerous this woman is.

"Thank-you," Dr. Berchant said. Motioning to Shane he said, "If you'll come with me, please."

"Yes sir." Shane acts as if Annie weighs a lot to him, going in theme with the guard's reputation as not being able to carry a lot for long. He follows Dr. Berchant while keeping his weapon slung and Annie over his shoulder.

Trinity felt almost flattered at the sound of that. That she was dangerous enough for them to take precautions.
As the said 'countermeasures' revealed herself, Trinity's eyes widen. She shook her head No...no it can't be...how could they?

Without much thought she came out of Freya's shadow closely she said in a hushed tone, "Freya don't do this...I don't want to fight you. Don't make me fight my own sensei..."

It didn't seem that long ago that she and Freya would fight back to back. As part of her training she had to be able to cover Freya durning a fight. She had spars with Freya but never a fight. Here there could be a possibility that she would have to kill her. She seriously hoped it wouldn't come to that. The woman taught her everything she knows about combat, including killing.

Liv Crystalion was close by. She had originally intended to visit a few people she knew at the safe house. But the sight of Daedelus had forced her to retreat for now. She still observed carefully. Only the upper ranks knew of her mission. These lowly dogs would not have been informed of her even if their target was Valhalla itself. Now this would prove to be difficult for her. Help them or stay hidden. Then there was the fact that there could be a Meta amongst them. If she were to face that one she might expose her stolen powers to anyone near.

But before she could make her decision Trinity popped up. Literally. She let out a sigh of relieve but then hoped no one would hurt her sweet Trinity. Too bad a second Meta came out a shadow the same way Trinity did. Freya Soichi, Liv had read the file about her. Freya was Trinity's former teacher with the same powers. Daedelus managed to capture her and brainwashed her. A perfect countermeasure for Trinity. Now the question remained....should Liv interfere or not? And if she would...should she attack herself or find another way? She had so many options

His question caused a dark brow to raise, silence to take over him momentarily. "It's fine. Brother will take care of me. My brother used to get in big big trouble while traveling." The dark eyes moved from Theonis to the tall figure sitting in a chair on the opposite side of the room, luckily he had fallen asleep therefore not hearing any of his words. "Haha big brother get's booboo's all the time." The boy laughed childishly as he continued on with the healing, they had traveled for several years before finding this place. Through wilderness, towns, and large cities. "Some people are just mean." Apollo whispered, he would recall when Orion had sustained some pretty aweful injuries because he refused to use his power so people wouldn't know that they weren't 'like them.' As a child he didn't understand why Orion just took what they did to him, though by his expressions he hadn't acted appropriately...not reacting to pain..is just...not normal. "My big brother is the greatest....!" The boy spat out, anything to get rid of the thoughts of his brothers...strange qualities.

When Theonis looked to the shadow in the corner he could see a pair of eyes looking at him. Filled with longing and perhaps even lust. He sure hoped it was both. He could stare at the for hours he felt. However, the eyes vanished to his regret. He couldn't get rid of this bad feeling had.

"I bet he is. And yeah..some people are just mean." He replied.

His expression changed as soon as he heard the radio of a guard that walked by. It was a male voice telling others to provide back up for Trinity . He knew Trinity could handle herself well but he felt worried.

"Thanks Apollo, I feel a lot better now. I know I asked for a full healing but this will have to do for now sorry. Need to take care of some things." He said as he stopped Apollo. He was grateful to the kid for the healing there was no denying that. But he needed to go now. That bad feeling kept getting worse..

Theonis got out of bed and put his shirt back on. He still had some pain but it felt more like sore muscles than broken bones. Which was an improvement regardless. He went after the guard to ask for a specific location of Trinity. He had no idea where the area that she was in was located.

Dr. Berchant led the way down the hall, twisting and turning down corridors apparently unconcerned with the labyrinth of a hallway the holding facility was. Finally he stopped at a door labeled Lab 44B, and he opened the door to find a man in his mid twenties flirting with a pretty looking lab assistant. "Ahem," Dr. Berchant said. "John, I have something of interest for you."

The man turned, smiling, "Yes, Dr. Berchant, what is it?"

Dr. Berchant pointed at Annie draped over the shoulder of Shane. "We captured Annabella Soulsmith and I am taking her to HQ. I was wondering if you were interested in coming to see the procedures we take in ensuring she doesn't escape again. And while she's unconscious, I was thinking of taking some samples of her blood for tests which I'll let you look over if you're interested."

John's eyes lit up like a kid at Christmas, "Are you serious?"

"Yes, of course," Dr. Berchant said.

"Lead the way then," John said, turning he said goodbye to the lab assistant, "Bye Alice. See you later." Dr. Berchant sighed, no, no John wasn't going to see Alice again. Not if Shane Morris had a say in the matter.

Tansy's face paled. She knew well the horrors she and the other faced when they had met up with Charles Ray. She had been one of the first to break his power over her. It shamed her to think she'd been living in a nightmare this long. She paused to think about the name.. "Vaguely." She frowned. "Not really.."

Gidget started thinking for a moment when Tom looked up at her and started tugging on her shirt. "Oh, right yea. Thanks Tom, you can leave now,"

The young boy replaces the bandanna covering his third eye and regards Tansy with a bow before taking his leave.

Gidget watches him go and then returns her attention to Tansy. "In the vision I saw he was wearing a priest's robes. Where were you when you saw him. or do you remember?"

"Lead the way then," John said, turning he said goodbye to the lab assistant, "Bye Alice. See you later." Dr. Berchant sighed, no, no John wasn't going to see Alice again. Not if Shane Morris had a say in the matter.

Shane notices the way Alice and John look at each other. Pity, he thinks, but they sealed their fate when they started doing research for these monsters.

Shane nods to John as he walks past him to follow Dr. Berchant. He can almost feel Annie's potential feelings in this matter. That Shane is killing another innocent human. Then again, this was to get her son back. Shane feels that she may actually be alright with this.

Shane adjusts Annie's position on his shoulder to make it a bit easier for her to breath, and then follows the two scientists.

"Walking sounds good to me... so does playing a sport. Volleyball is my favorite." Kerana chirped as she set her settings on the treadmill.

"Ooh, volleyball sounds fun. We should do that next." Deora said as she stepped onto the treadmill next to Kerana. "So, did you ever play on a team?"

((It occurs to me that I really to make something interesting happen, but what?))

Without so much as batting an eyelash Freya spins around starts a fevered assault on Trinity with a flurry of punches and kicks.

Trinity did her best to block most of her punches, her training two years in the shadow realm did pay off but there were a few hits that landed. One of which brought her down to her knee. " I don't want to fight you Freya...But I will defend myself." Her eyes glow for a brief moment as she said this.

At those words her mind went back toward when she first met Okami. When she thought that Freya was Okami.

"I don't want to hurt you Freya but I will defend myself." at least I hope I can she didn't realize it but she took a defensive stance. Even if she didn't know what she was doing her instincts seem to know exactly what to do.

Okami can't help it anymore. She is by far too much enamored by how cute she finds Trinity. Freya chuckles from within the shadows, knowing what is about to happen.

The wolf sits up and brings her arms up to her chest, squealing like a little girl that had just seen a puppy in a little red wagon, "Kawaii! I like you very much already!" She bounds with her hind legs with her tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth. She wraps her arms around Trinity and squeezes her tightly. "I'm Okami, let's be friends!"

Hopefully whatever they did to her did not mess with Okami...but first I need to distance myself in case I'm wrong... Though blood tricked from her nose and side of her mouth, Trinity returns a flurry of punches and added a round house kick when she had the chance. She leaps up and tries to push herself away by pushing off her chest.
