Daypaw and Tulippaw felt the rays of the sun warming their pelts in the early morning. With realization, Daypaw shot up like a fish in the water. "Tulippaw, wake up! Today's the your first day as an apprentice!" Daypaw mewed happily as Tulippaw woke up grudgingly.
"Huh?" SHe yawn, rubbing sleep from her eyes.
"That's a silly question to ask. Lets go so we can go hunting together" At this, Tulippaw shot up as well and both she-cats padded out into th early morning clearing.

Nightrunner padded into the clearing with some fresh-kill in his jaws and he sets in on the pile.

Seeing her mentor pad into the clearing with fresh-kill made her mouth water, but second to just seeing him. "Nightrunner!" She runs over to him, accidentally bowling him over when she couldn't stop herself. Tulippaw was right behind her but started to laugh at the pile that Nightrunner and Daypaw made of themselves.

Nightrunner smiles, surprised at how she was the only one who could make him feel this way as he nuzzled her in greeting. "good morning little daypaw"

Autumnstar padded from her den, the lichen curtain brushing over her beautiful tortoiseshell coat, she saw her apprentice near the fresh-kill pile, she padded over to her and dipped her head, "Tulippaw do not eat, i do belive you will hunt better on an empty stomach" she mewed as she waited for the small she-cat to join her

Daypaw nuzzled her mentor back, getting off of him so he could get up. She also noticed that Autumnstar had came out of her den. Meaning that they would begin hunting. Daypaw's stomach growled, but she knew that she would hunt better on an empty stomach, though it appeared Tulippaw didn't believe that.
She pouted at her mentor, but nodded because she did not want to argue with Autumnstar. And anyways, Daypaw isn't complaining so she probably has to do this too.

Lightblossom padded down towards camp with Illusion right behind her, prey in their jaws. She squeezed into camp and padded over to the fresh-kill pile. Lightblossom glanced at Illusion. "This is where you put your prey when you're finished hunting," she told him in her usual soft yet singing voice. Lightblossom blinked her beautiful and stuning ember eyes, and the moonlight hitting her pure white pelt shining it silver. Lightblossom leaned down and grabbed a mouse. "You may eat, if you wish. Just take some food to the elders and queens before you do so." Lightblossom turned around and padded to a patch of grass and she sat down, with her pure white/silver puffy tail curled around her paws. She bent down and took a bite, the juicy flavor wiping her taste-buds as the delicious mouse slithered down her throat. Lightblossom couldn't help but purr. She soon finished the yummy mouse, and sent a prayer to StarClan, thanking them for the prey that she just ate. Then, Lightblossom layed on her side, and drousilly started to groom herself.

Nightrunner gets up, padding over to the three she-cats and flicks his tail lightly. "i am ready to hunt if you are leader"

Autumnstar nodded, "very well follow me" she mewed over her shoulder as she trotted into the gorse tunnel her mouth extended slightly letting the tastes of the forest caress her scent glands

Nightrunner follows behind the three, slowly flicking his tail as he waits to see what autumnstar will do.

Autumnstar lead them to the training hollow, "now Daypaw i know you know the traditional hunting crouch but Tulippaw doesn't" she mewed looking back at the apprentice's, "Tulippaw i want you to try a crouch, fit your body into what feels comfortable, i will help fix it" she mewed and sat waiting for her apprentice to do as she asked

Winternight padded from the warriors den, she noticed most of the cats were gone out into the forest on patrols and hunting, she decided to pick a small mouse left over from last nights meal and eat it beside the nursery where she was accustomed to eating

Following their leader to the Sandy Hollow, with Nightrunner trailing behind them, Tulippaw and Daypaw stood next to each other as Autumnstar instructed Tuilppaw into the Hunter's crouch. With Daypaw's help, she was able to get her body into a position where she could spring easily to catch or silently stalk her prey without a sound. "How is this?" She asked in her position.

Nightrunner pads over to one corner of the hollow, watching and allowing the three she-cats some together time.

Upon seeing her mentor in the corner as she helped her clanmate, Daypaw called over, "Nightrunner, are you going to teach me anything new today, or are we just practicing the same moves?" She inquired.
