Ha ha you UK girls are sissies when it comes to withstanding the heat blaugh . Down here in Melbourne it can get up to as high as 43 degrees at the height of summer in first term. The ground literally burns your feet, and inside an un-air conditioned room it can get even hotter than that.

It was 35degC here yesterday, apparently (I dunno, I was on the plane)..

Now that I have heard reports of up to 39 degrees in the UK and other European countries, I do feel sorry for the northerners ( a little blaugh )

Highest ever temperature to reach the UK 37 degrees celsius.
Yesteday's temperature around 32 degrees celsius.
It was on the newspaper in London yeasterday, ((yes me and my friends found a newspaper in the London underground)) there was a photo of a taxi man cooking eggs on his car bonnet stare Now that shows you how hot it was yesterday!
We had to walk yesterday! Accompanied by 10 London underground rides on the trains, and let me tell you it was boiling and so hard to breath down there! During the busy hour the train was packed full and it was boiling hot, we had to go inside and when we went in we started sweating like fat pigs gonk I thought I was gonna die in that train! scream
When we got out of the British Library ((yes, the nice air conditioned library)) the suns rays hit my skin and burnt it >_> Good thing my friend offered me to let me use her 50+ sun cream of I would've been as red as a tomato >_>;;
The London eye had a really small air condtioner which wasn't enough for us! There were around 15 people in our pod and we were all sweaty. It wasn't hot in the pod on the London eye, but we were still sweating.
We also had to sit in the sun and stand in the sun waiting to go on the London eye.
I also spent a load of money on drinks and food gonk
