Courtyard (South)

[Usagi_Tsukino]

"It seems like you are having touble," she said smiling at the boy. She looked back at the sisters that were still argueing. Yugure pulled her cape tighter around her to block the sun.  

[Flir]

"Maybe...just alittle." He wasn't sure what he had gotten himself into... "Its sort of a long story..." Rake stood and held his hand out to the girl.

"I'm Rake..." He tried to grin, dispite the strange situation.  

[Kara Kimari]

(Hm, maybe it's time to make my appearance.)
Kara thought to herself. In one quick motion, she flipped over backwards out of the nearby tree she had been watching from. She never really intended on spying on people from up in the trees, but she couldn't help it if something interesting happened nearby while she was up there. As she landed on her right knee and left foot, she stood up quickly and dusted herself off.
"Hi, I'm Kara Kimari. I'm sorry for intruding, but your show was most amusing... and I believe I've met you before too, have I not Mister Rake?"
She smiled sweetly and looked the whole group over.
"I do believe you are the one I listened to that likes to put on fire and motorbike shows."  

[Flir]

Rake looked left, then right, his mouth opened but he didn't say anything. He didn't know her either. He nodded. "Uh...I...I am." That was all he could get out. He was surrounded by girls, and it felt very unusual.

"How...long have you been up there??" He pointed to the tree she just popped out of. At least everyone has been pretty friendly...even if they are popping out of trees.  

[Kara Kimari]

"I'm always in the trees, if not, below them. I was the girl that fell asleep drawing in her sketch pad... was it... two days ago? Well, I never look up at people when I'm drawing, but I keep my ears in tune for these sort of things. I fell asleep to your voice, so I heard everything. As for right now, I'll never tell how long I was there for."
Kara looked around at the group, suddenly intrigued by them all. She had been attending Ria for only four days now, and thus, had still made no friends. This seemed like a perfect chance to meet people.  

[Flir]

"Hum...well I just got here yesterday...so It would have to have been yesterday." He said soberly, with his arms crossed and nodding his head. He leaned in next to her, "Did you draw me~?" He said, joking with her.  

[Kara Kimari]

"No, just the large tree... I can already tell you're a much better artist than me. That's why I stick to stories most of the time."
Kara smiled again, glad to see he had a sense of humor unlike some of the people she'd met. Her early experiences with boys were unpleasant, to say the least.  

[Flir]

Rake laughed, "No no no, I can't draw at all. I don't even try." He put his hands in the pockets of his jacket. "I'm really only good at two things." Rake shrugged casually and leaned back on the statue again.

He thought how there sure were alot of girls at this school...Kumizu had been the only other guy he had talked to that he could remember.  

[Kara Kimari]

"So I see... well, I found a rather beautiful picture earlier, but it must have been another Rake that made it."
Kara sat down on the grass and began picking the simply, but elegant white flowers out of the grass and making a neat pile of them.  

[Flir]

Rake eyed her, "What? What kind of picture?" He was pretty sure he was the only Rake around here...but with a school this big, who knows? "What was it of?"

He follwed her with his eyes as she bent down, and picked at the little flowers. He finds himself in a constant state of curiosity at this school. He also seems to find himself rather popular with girls, much to his suprise. The constant jokes use to turn them away more than attract them.  

[Kara Kimari]

"It's not my place to say, it must be some other Rake... because you don't draw, right?"
Her pile grew until it was enough to fit a small basket, at which point she stopped picking them and pulled out her ID card and started slicing small holes in the stems of each of them. a second pile formed as she separated the ones she had already cut into.  

[Flir]

Rake sat down next to her and watched her work. So far out of all the people he's met she seems to be the most normal. Well...other than the initial jumping out of the tree thing.

"So why do you like that big tree so much, if you don't mind me asking?" He laied back in the grass, and watched the clouds. He always liked finding strange shapes in the clouds. Dragons. Fish. Structures. People.  

[Kara Kimari]

She finished her cutting just as he asked this and she put away her card before answering.
"Because one of the many things I inherited from my mother was control over plants... I've noticed that often times people are most comfortable in places they have the most control. I'm no exception really, I love plants. They fascinate me greatly."
As she said this, she began threading the flowers stem-first through the other one's cuts until they met petal to petal, thus forming a chain. Then, with each one she completed, she ran her thumb over the cuts until they closed up as high as they could, also regaining some of they're greenery. She held the chain out to show him her work as she finished her explanation. The plant glowed momentarily as it sealed, then faded back to normal.  

[Flir]

"Wow. Thats impressive!" His eyes grew sort of big as he watched. "My powers aren't half as good." Rake rested his head again, and blew a few smoke rings...and a few shapes...but they wound up just as blobs.

"With how much I've been wandering around lately, maybe I'm just not comfortable anywhere." He mused, "Well...except when I'm around other people." He wasn't use to being alone really, since he came to Ria High, he's found himself alone more than ever.  

[Kara Kimari]

"I see how it would be a problem for you.. However, since your powers make such impressive tricks, perhaps you really are meant to be around people. I was most impressed when I first heard of your powers."
She blushed slighty at this, but it faded fast enough as she finished the chain by gently forcing out of the flower heads through a rather large cut and sealed it. Kara then stood and brushed herself off again and walked over to him, putting the silvery white flower chain around his neck.
"They'll last for at least two days now that I've charged them full of life... but you don't have to keep it or anything."
Kara leaned against the tree next to him, looking away with shyness.
