Courtyard (South)

Rake grinned, "Thanks~" It was a nice gesture actually. "Why wouldn't I keep it?" He laied back down, fully flat on the ground. "The smoke I guess is a silly trick. But I really do work better with others. Being alone just...well...sucks."

"Your really nice Kara. Don't go fading off like all the other people have that I've met okay?" He blew at a stray piece of hair in his face, "I seem to be good at talking to people for a few hours, but no one wants to hang out again. Or at least we just don't run into each other I guess."  

[Kara Kimari]

"Well, I've seen you more than once, so I'm sure we'll meet again."
She stares up into the sky and noticed teh clouds forming together rather strangely.
"Hey, do you see a heart with an arrow through it in that cloud up there? It's so perfect... someone must be manipulating it."
She stares in awe at it, most likely looking for a sign of manipulation.

"Thats true. Maybe your right." He streched out until he heard something crack, hah, it always feels good when you hear a pop.

"A heart with an arrow though it? Well it for sure isn't me." He looked as he spotted it, and wondered who in the would would make it. "It would be pretty cool to use the cloud as a sketch pad."

"Hehe.. ya, it would be pretty cool..."
She slid down the tree gently until she was sitting again with her legs to her side. Then, holding her arm straight out over the grass, her thin vine bracelet began to glow a light green, along with her palm. The vine began to form sprouts and grow up into her hand, then, as it kept growing, it grew into a heart with tiny curled sprouts all throughout the middle. She held it up to examine it and matched it perfectly to the shape in the sky, arrow and all.

"Where the hell are you taking meeee." His body lifted off of the ground as she pulled him in this radom direction. Ashitaka finally landed on his feet and stopped her. He looked at her. " Now, if you wouldn't mind telling me where wer'e going."

Trinity was pulled back when he stopped, she almost fell over, but caught herself. "What? No place in particular really." She grinned at him "We'll just go this way and find out where that takes us, okay?" After that she smiled at him, waiting to see what he'd say.

Ayise had long stopped bickering with her sister and was looking at the sky. "..." She sighed and rubbed Courtney's head, "Why don't you pin your hair back? No one can see your face. Unless you think you're ugly or something, then it's reflecting on me."
She pretended to stare Courtney down.

She looked up at Rake(?), that was what Courtney had called him, then at Kara and sighed, "Didn't you say someone need their motorcycle fixed, Chiu?"

Tomoro made her way happily into the courtyard, her heels seeming to bounce as she walked along the soft green grass. Such a pleasant sight it was! So many trees, so many beautiful flowers, the blue sky with a few clouds hanging in it like cotton balls. A small smile slowly crept across her face, and she spun around in a circle before setting her sights on an oak tree nearby.

I LOVE THIS TREE! Quickly, she made her way over to it, stroking the bark softly and then sticking her tongue out of her mouth, gripping onto a strong branch and pulling herself up, climbing up the tree like a monkey. A few branches caught her hair, but she pulled it through quickly, and too much hair didn't rip out...

Making her way to the top, she let out a large sigh of happiness as she looked out to the horizon, gripping onto the trees for support.

Walking up to the tree with Tomoro, he was actually quite surprised as she suddenly began to pull herself up into the tree, and he watched her climb up the tree swiftly and nimbly, bringing a hand to the back of his head as he looked up at her as she got to the top of the tree, a weak smile over his face. "Uh, I think I'll just.. chill down here" he called out to her. It's not that he was afraid of heights.. he was just... afraid of being nearly immobile in high places. If that made sense.

Too bad she wasn't even able to hear Seth, as she had reached the entire tip of the tree, standing on the single oak branch, arms extended. Such a wonderful feeling it was... Tomoro looked out over the entire courtyard, and saw many different people; couples, lonely kids sitting by themselves and reading, and people just wandering around.

With that, she jumped down from the top branch, swinging from limb to limb until she reached the bottom, opposite of Seth. She toppled over, however, on all fours, biting her lower lip in pain; yeah... that bruise was still there. And it hurt.. badly... but he couldn't know that! Quickly standing up and taking a few small breaths, Tomoro made her way back to him.

"Sorry... I kinda lost it... I hadn't climbed a tree in so long.." she said, blushing slightly and intertwining her fingers behind her back.

He smiled slightly as she showed up beside him, blushing as she apologized. "No worries.. we all have little thrills we need to take every now and then.." he said with a nod before looking around the Courtyard, then stretching out his arms as he took in a deep breath of the fresh air around them, closing his eyes as he did so, reopening them to stare directly into the sun's light which shone from high above, before looking around the Courtyard, then back to Tomoro. "So.." he began before he sat down under the tree and looked up at her "...when did you find out you were an earth elemental?" he asked out of plain curiosity.

Tomoro also took a seat next to Seth, her back arched down as she moved her index finger along the grass, it growing two or three inches, and then receding once again when she actually placed her finger upon them. It was hard to talk about how she became an earth elemental when so many things had happenes simutaneously... she'd try to be brief.

Sighing lightly and closing her eyes, she opened her mouth to speak, and began her story. " A long... time ago... when I was around five or six... three boys that lived near me... tied me up in a burlap sack and threw me in a river..." She paused at this moment, not for dramatic tension or anything, but rather it was hard for her to go on. "I... was so near death... when somehow... there was this warm glow... that I felt... and the bag somehow came undone... and I felt like I was pushed out of the water, onto the riverside.... the boys I saw had screamed and run away... and all I had left... was seaweed in my hair... strange how things work out. If it hadn't been for those devils, then I wouldn't have this power... and yet they still came back not too long ago... but someone I know beat them up pretty badly. They're hellbent on revenge..." Although she wasn't completely sure WHY these three boys were out to get her, she did know that she had been running from them her entire life... and would continue to do so.

Tomoro looked down at the grass and shut her mouth, stopping her breathing pattern for a moment or two, and then looking away, wind hitting her in the face and blowing her spare hair out of her eyes. She wasn't even too clear in her explanation... she hoped Seth would understand it.

"Ah? No my bike is fine right now. I just ment for future reference." He said to Ayise, "I tend to ride it hard, so it needs alot of maintenance. I really should have learned how to do it myself by now..."

Rake was intrigued by Kara's abilities. Sustaining plants so they wouldn't die, seemed like a nice power to him. "So, what did you do before coming here, to Ria anyway. I seem to be the only one talking about what happened before."

taruko Stumbled out to the courtyard tripping every few yards, this school was a little intimidating, he had no idea where to go or even what to do. 'H-hey," He said nervously, these other stuudents seemed so scary to him, "C-CAn anyone H-help me?"

Ayise turned to her sister; "We should attend to our music lessons now."

She pulled on Chiu's arm; she really would like to avoid questions for now. She wondered if he'd seen Courtney's eyes since they seemed to know each other; then she wondered who Seiya was...she'd seen him in the park and he called her Seiya. That was...strange.

As she and Courtney left she glanced at Tomoro and then back to Courtney who looked in the direction Ayise did, she hurried a little faster. It sucked having a distinctive last name as they did.
