More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Theonis answered her hug by embracing her. He was glad she was safe despite her wounds. Sure his ribs started to hurt more now that she hugged him tighter but he endured it. Although he wasn't sure how much longer if her grip would continue to increase.

"Well to be fair these two days haven't really been easy for you, have they? Anyway, the outside is clear. It's a bit messy though. So what happened in here Trin?"

Trinity smiled and let go of Theonis, He always seem to know the right thing to say... "It was Freya, my sensei she seemed to be under some sort of control, brain washed I think. I thought her will was too strong for that. The tree saved me.... but I couldn't do the same for it... I think the tree was a meta..."

She remembered while shadow traveling that she could see a group of people's shadows shadows well protected in a hidden room. Trinity couldn't tell if there were metas or human since she was in a rush to get back to combat.

She turned toward the safe room, "Alright! It's safe to come out. Daedalus left."

"How is that even possible? It sho-...nevermind...I've learned that pretty much anything is possible when it comes to Meta's. But your teacher huh? I'm sure you'll get her out of it one way or the other. I'm sure we can think of a plan together." He said as he waited for the people to come out of the safe room.

Jeze frowned as she glanced at the monitor. "s**t." She turned to her sisters. "Trinity is here...."

Lia frowned, and Kali stiffened. "We need to leave. If that woman sees us, she'll more then likely try to take us back to that place." Jeze sneered as she crossed her arms over her chest and flipped her hair back over her shoulder.

Lia wrinkled her nose. "I bet she'd be mad! Shane blew up a good part of that bottom floors of Valhalla...

Liz is about to ask what they mean by "that place" when Larry interrupts her.

"Kali.Scared.Larry.Help."

Liz's eyes snap open with horror as her brother turns around. She Frantically tries to stop Larry as he rears his massive right arm back. "Lawrence no, don't! It's a misunderstanding, I'm sure they don't want to hurt her. Please Lawrence, you know what happened the last time you used your powers. Lawrence Stop!"

But he was deaf to her. He liked Kali, she smiled at him without looked scared or revolted first. He doesn't care that the woman standing outside the door stopped Daedalus from hurting everyone. Kali and her sisters are his new friends, and no one is taking them.

Larry throws his fist forward with a roar, throwing the door off it's hinges. The door flies like a giant steel bullet as Larry steps out of the panic room.

Geez, if they were packing this much power, why weren't they part of the fight? Trinity thought as she saw Larry make his entrance. "We mean you no harm! Please stand down!"

She turned to Theonis and in a quiet voice, "Get ready, I've got very little ki energy left from that last battle. It's what I use to do all my shadow manipulations."

"So it's up to me then" he whispered back.

Then he saw he really saw the thing come out. It had human shape but that's where the similarity ended. But most of all...he's big.

"Wow he's,,big"

Damn...I don't even know if that hit just now was his max power or not? I got lucky against Shane's surprise attack but I don't know if I can even deflect a punch of that magnitude! he thought to himself.

Trinity was unphased by the size and strength of Larry. She has faced opponents of this size and stature in previous battles. To her it meant their pressure points were easier to find.

She started walking toward him, "Please stand down. We have no intent to harm you. But if we have to defend ourselves we will."

Liz coughs as she climbs through the dust and calls out to the two strangers. "Run away! He not just strong! He's fast, really fast!"

Larry looks down at Trinity and Theonis. His voice booms, "No.Take." He takes a deep breath, leans forward, and charges at Trinity and Theonis at a speed that could only be describe at super. He becomes a gigantic blur, intent on stopping these little people from taking his new friends.

Trinity didn't expect such speed. She would have drop through her shadow if she had enough ki energy to restored to do it. Instead she did her best to block his rush but only got thrown to the other side. At least she got a better sense of what she's up against. From the rubble she stood back up. She felt sore and held her side, "So much for going easy on my back.." she said softly.

Theonis managed to jump aside.. He grit his teeth as the sudden movement seemed to upset his already fractured ribs.

Deal with it! Think! Can he alter his course or does he need to stop? How good is his control? Give up on stopping him or taking a blow. That speed and that power will blow you apart. Speed....fast...stopping...Trip! Trip him somehow. Theonis thought while bearing the pain. Misunderstanding or not, right now that was an enemy that was trying to kill him and Trinity. And Theonis would protect himself and Trinity if he had to.

"Trin! You alright?"

"I'll be alright...". Her eyes are on Larry, she knew she could take him if she could get to him in the right angle. She steadied her breath and thought if Theonis could find a way to slow him down she could make some head way.

Kali's eyes widened as she watched Larry break down the door and then charge at Trinity and the other man. She smiled somewhat at the thought of him trying to protect her.

Jeze blinked rapidly as she watched Larry speed. "Come on, now would be a good time to get out of here."

Lia turned to Jeze. "We can't just leave!"
"Oh yes we can."
"We have no other place to go."
"Larry." Kali's voice was was a bit louder then normal as she called out to the large man.

Larry comes to a screeching halt. His declaration causes the floor tile to pile up under his feet until he is stopped. Steadily, deliberately, he turns around to face Trinity and Theonis. His slow demeanor is a way to control the powers he has. His enfeebled mind can't comprehend how destructive his power is, or how to control it properly. His big sister told him to move as slowly as he can, and he wont hurt anyone.

Liz runs up to Trinity and shouts, "Please don't hurt him! He doesn't realize what he's doing. He hasn't been right in the head since the meteor shower."

Larry hears his name called and slowly glances at Kali. He winks at her slowly, then returns his gaze to Trinity and Theonis. He bends down slowly, then throws his hands into the ground beneath him.

The rest of the people in the panic room scatter and run. They know what he is about to do. Liz shakes her head and runs to cover.

Larry grunts and throws his hands back up, within them is a chunk of the ground the size of a man. He bellows and uses his combined strength and speed to launch it at Trinity and Theonis.

Trinity looked toward the lizard woman. "I don't think I can keep not hurting him if he keeps this up!". Trinity runs the other direction. "Get him to stop or I'll put him down for a nap!"
