More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Trinity looked toward the lizard woman. "I don't think I cam keep not hurting him if he keeps this up!". Trinity runs the other direction. "Get him to stop or I'll put him down for a nap!"

"He thinks you're going to take the new girls away from here. If you just leave he'll stop."

Part of her wanted to say yes and spend the rest of the day with Theonis and rest. It would have been the more logical choice to make, to save this fight for when she recovered from her injuries and her ki energy. Yet she couldn't stand loosing another fight.

She kept moving, "Thing is I'm afraid he's right. Y'see there are some things these girls need to account for. First was the car accident they caused for fun, killing several people in the process. Second was they let loose a dangerous class 5 dangerous meta-human. Which many died at his hands because of that. Third and most importantly they almost killed my best friend, Gidget! I'm not letting them get away with that!" she managed to restore enough ki energy to shadow travel. She best use it wisely.

Erin panted for breath as her whole body shook. Her board stopped as it hit the lip of the side walk. She stood in the middle of a broken and deserted intersection of the sub district. What lay behind her was dips turns and hills he made quickly and effortlessly from manipulating the road, buildings, and sidewalks. She skated and put as much space between her and whatever she had stumbled upon to leave her feeling a little easy now. A cool wind blew along the street, picking up the scrap of useless papers and dust to throw and twist them. Before her was a small grassy area, mainly used for decoration for the business district. The grass was had grown tall and the tips stubborn with age. She needed to sit down, relax, do something to let the shakes go away and to ease the fear that had come over her. Beyond the grassy area and in the middle of it all was the broken fountain. Picking her board up she tracked through the tall grass, until she reached the concrete walk way and the broken fountain. There she sat on it's edge and leaned her board against it. She leaned forward and rested.

There she was... Jordan has spotted her. The fear still flickering in the girls heart. It was so fresh, and so new; it felt like a breath on new life to Jordan. He was down the street, in the shadows, watching... waiting... for the right moment to come closer to the girl and to see what other fears she had within her.

Lia frowned. "It's not right to keep Shane locked up! All he's trying to do is save his sister's soul!" She shouted at Trinity. Anger beginning to flow through her. "Don't make me force you to cool down!" She growled under her breath.

"Was it right for him to go on a murdering spree to experiment on girls including ones your age so that he could manage some way for Gidget's soul to inhabit their bodies? If Gidget didn't do what she did in her battle against Leviathan she would have been completely dead, body and soul! He should be grateful that she managed to survive, that her soul is still around. Yet instead he can't accept that. Instead, he abducted these girls and killed them. Does that seem right to you?"

When she used her ki to heal herself her body energy and her ki energy became out of sync. Absorbing her power now wouldn't be as effective if it was done before that, considering her ki energy is running low now.

"He's doing what he has to to save his sister! She should be proud that he would go to any lengths for his family! But she wouldn't be able to do that can she? She can't feel anything in that suit. It's just cold steel. All he wants to do is give Gigdet the best life he can. To see her be happy and to see her cry. To watch her fall in love and get married and have children. But she can't do that, can she? How would YOU like to watch the world pass you by and never really get to be a part of it? To never know love, or even heartache?" Lia shouted at her, tears spilling from her eyes as she did so. "Shane is a good person. And all he is trying to do is save the only family he has left. By whatever means possible. He wouldn't hurt anyone without a good reason! And how do you know that he killed them? Maybe he was trying to save them too! He's a good person. And I don't care what you say otherwise. I love him! And even if you do take us, he'll come back for us! I know he will. After he and Annie and done at Deadulas, they'll come back! He told me so!" Lia eyes narrowed somewhat as she held her hands out in front of her. "I won't let you stop him from reuniting with his sister. I'll stop you myself!" She aimed her stair straight at Trinity, focusing on drawing her energy out of her.

"Proud of catching her brother red handed, killing a girl so that she could inhabit her body?

Don't confuse senses for feelings! She has feelings and it hurts her every time her brother refers her as a 'machine'. Would 'cold steel' build new eyes for a blind person? Would 'cold steel' care so much about other metas to provide a home and place to learn their powers? Would 'cold steel' care so much about lives to seal her brother to prevent him from killing?

Funny! All this talk about reuniting him with his sister and it's from the one who nearly took her from him!"

Lia may be using her ability, and her ki energy went down to zero but she was able to keep going because her body had the energy to do so. In this respect a lot of her training paid off since it didn't rely on her power to get to get to where she is now physically.

Theonis managed to alter it's course with his powers.

Wonder what he will do if I altered it's path so it would fly towards those four? Seems he wants to protect them but what if his own attacks were to harm them? Would he snap out of it or get enraged by it and totally lose control?

He was trying to think it through but Trinity's and that kid's bickering wasn't helping. It got on his nerves.

"Shut up! Both of you! Trying to think here! Trin, Focus on him! He's still trying to kill us in case you haven't noticed!" Theonis shouted at the two.

Jezebel snorted somewhat. "And you think we're going to stop and help you." She laughed coldly at him as she placed her hand on her hip.

Lia frowned. "I don't know what you're talking about. I've never done anything to Shane sister. You're a liar!" She cried, getting frustrated at the fact the woman seemed to be resisting her abilities. "And machines can do anything their programmed to do! They can seem like they have emotions and feelings, that how they trick other people into thinking their real!" She growled.

Trinity gritted her teeth as she heard Theonis telling her what to do. He was right though, it seemed there was no persuading her. Yet she figured she'd say one more thing before she totally focused on Larry.

"Heh, that's convenient. How else would I have found her drained like that. Her story has evidence to back it up. You on the other hand have a sister that can whipe memories. Your sister probably messed with your head like she did mine. If you want to know for certain I'd ask Shane if you ask your sister she'd lie or tell the truth then while your memory again."

Hopefully this will give Lia something to think about. With that she focused more on Larry waiting for him to throw the next piece of ground.

Larry slowly raises his hand and points at the two strangers. "Leave.Kali.Stay."

Liz watches her little brother with curiosity and terror. She has never seen him become this attached to someone so quickly. Yet if what the shadow woman is saying is true, then Kali and her sisters are dangerous people.

Larry speaks again, this time louder. "Leave.I.Spin."

Liz's eyes snap open wide as she scales the wall swiftly around Trinity and Theonis to confront her brother. She throws her arms open and shouts up at him, "No Lawrence! Don't spin! If you spin you'll hurt everyone. Remember what happened to Mom and Dad."

Larry drops his hand and thinks about what his sister said. Tears start to well up in his eyes as the memories start coming back. He starts to weep loudly and drops to his knees, causing the ground to shake beneath him.

Liz walks up to him and wraps her scaly arms around her brother. She hates having to do that, but he really would have destroyed everything if he had started to spin. She looks over to the two strangers, and the sisters. "I'm sorry, he doesn't know any better."

Trinity was able to relax and stop running. She approached the lizard girl thinking that she was somewhat the leader of the group out here, "Thank you. I'm sorry for the loss of your guardian. My backup will be arriving soon." She places her hands on her hips and looked down sighed, "I thought they would be here during the fight earlier but so far..." She looked to Theonis,"Only Theonis here came in time... There's one of two things that could happen. One is that they can help start rebuilding things around here and if other metas want to return with them to Valhalla where they will have a place to live as well as food and a place to hone their skills. Or I can send them back, but my offer still stands for Valhalla."

Theonis was glad the Larry threat was over but the issue of the girls still remained. He wondered something though. What would happen if she drained Larry? Would he revert to human form or stay the same only weakened?

"I hate interrupting things like this but...what are ya gonna do bout those three?" Theonis asked.

He glanced over to Larry.

He's just a little kid inside all of that mass. Poor kid.
