Lilian giggled and kissed him back just as deeply. Pleasure seemed to consume the lovers into savages underneath the covers. They danced and danced, until they could not dance anymore and were swept up in blissful sleep.

Tyras was smiling as he began moving his things from his home to the castle. He was now King of Shekerishet and with that came a lot of responsability. The meeting with the elder predecessor's had gone very well. Everyone brought something to the table, even the human Shiina had brought her own assistance into the mix.

But hope was another matter. The elvin race was quickly diminishing due to the countless wars fought there. Lilians brother-in-law had also died bravely in battle. This left Tyras with the job of dealing with Margolan's politics as well. He also made a mental note to send messengers to the other elvish cities, asking for what state they were in. He was afraid the elves as a whole were in chaos.

Tyras sighed and shook his head. He had to concentrate on the task at hand, though a simple task, if he sat down to think about all the elve's problems, he would quickly becom overwhelmed. He picked up a piece of furniture, enjoying the burn his muscles felt from the strain of it. When he was finished moving, he gathered the most stealthy elves there were and commanded them to each visit the 5 cities of the elves.

Four of the elves immediately left while one stayed behind. Tyras spoke in private with him, "I will be going with you to Margolan, seeing as I will definitely need to aide them to better health. I want to personally see what state they are in. I am not sure what the other states will be like so I have arranged a meeting point in Margolan. Make note of it though, this is a highly secret operation, no other race must know of our welfare or they will be encouraged to bring war upon us again and we will be overwhelmed." The elf nodded gravely and left to pack his things.

Few moments passed before the elf met up with Tyras and they began their stealthy journey to Margolan.

Xelas felt Kiara's emotions spike with great anger that began to rub off on Xelas. She quickly rapped her in the back of her head and Kiara's eyes rolled back as she lost consciousness. Xelas pillowed her fall with the membrane of her wing. She set her down gently before looking back at the creature.

She would have surely attacked you in that state , Xelas said, Now, she will sleep for some time. What are you creature? I have never met your kind before and I have lived for a long time. I am Xelas by the way. In what circumstances do you serve under Fatalis for?

Saytur jumped off of Thor's back some distance away from a city. They had traveled many leagues before they came upon their first city. Saytur felt some sort of familiarity to this city and had asked Thor to land half a league away from it.

Thor nudged his back, Will you be safe alone?. Saytur nodded, "I believe you will cause commotion with your size and I believe it is safe to assume other creatures here have never seen a dragon before. We don't want to spook them." Thor nodded in understanding but still did not like it. If something happened to Saytur, Thor would die as well, that was the true nature of their connection.

Saytur patted Thor's neck in comfort and then turned and headed for the city. When he reached it, he was surprised to see it was a city of Drows, a darker version of Elves.

Taki woke up the next morning, a smile on his lips. "Well then my love, what shall we do today?" He rarely had to any real work as king due to his people had learned to fend for themselves during the reign of Zant the Twisted, thus he usually had plenty of free time to spend in the lab making new inventions, even when Bartandelous had come with his army, his army had already prepped and been ready to go. Now he had three years to waste and he planned on using them well.

"Serve fatalis no I do not serve anyone I find his domain convenient for my purposes that is all. If you have never seen me before then your time of death isn't near yet" the creature said to Xelas and looked at the sleeping kiara


Fatalis appeared back in his domain and noticed that kiara was on the ground then looked at xelas "What is kiara doing on the ground xelas"

Lilian smiled back and cocked her head in thought. "I would like to meet your people if that's all right. I'd think they'd want to meet their new queen as much as I would like to know them no?" she asked, "And I'm not sure what you're responsabilities as King are here. This is after all a different race and culture."

Xelas turned her head to look at Fatalis and then down at Kiara. She shrugged and looked back at Fatalis. She got a bit angry so I knocked her unconscious. You can wake her up anytime, she said and then looked at the creature. You still have not answered my first question. What are you?, she repeated her earlier question.

Serenity was still crying and Mortis was now trying to climb out of the crib.

Fatalis walked over to the crib and put mortis back inside it and picked up serenity and tried to calm her down then turned and walked over to xelas "Really a bit angry if she was a bit angry then you wouldn't have needed to knock her out" fatalis said then walked over to where kiara was sleeping and set serenity down next to her and put his hand on her head "come on kiara time to wake up"


"I choose to tell certain beings what I am and you are not one of those beings" the creature said to xelas and looked directly into her eyes

Xelas snorted at the creature, I assume I am not even worthy to know what you are, Fine. She also looked into his eyes. They were not normal eyes either. The sockets only held fiery depths and Xelas took a dislike to them and turned to Fatalis.

Well I don't think Kiara would have wanted you to know how angry she got so I won't tell you, she said in a monotone voice. Now my question to you is now that the children were born, where will you and Kiara reside? Here in your domain, or back at the cave?

Kiara felt a strong and warm hand on her head. She moaned and turned over on her side. She heard sniffing sounds and then something was poking her face. She opened her eyes to see Serenity poking her face. All hints of anger were gone from Kiara and she smiled at her daughter. Serenity sniffed and smiled back.

Kiara sat up and saw Fatalis crouching next to her. "You're back," she said and hugged him. "How was your trip?" she asked as she picked up Serenity who giggled.


Meanwhile, Mortis had grunted at Fatalis when he put him back and his eyebrows were scrunched together with dissatisfaction. He watched as his parents talked to eachother and he smiled mischeviously. He walked to the back of his crib and climbed out slowly. It took him the second try to figure out how this piece of wood worked. All he had to do was lift his leg up and use his diaper to leverage him out. He plopped down on the floor and his head snapped to where his parents were. They didn't seem to notice him and he crawled to where the creature in black was. He touched the creature and laughed for the first time.

Fatalis looked over to were the creature was and saw mortis touch him and vanished and reappeared behind him and picked him up "well now your a bit of a trouble maker" he said to mortis then placed him on the creatures back and smiled then turned back to kiara and walked over to her "All I did was talk to taki again and offered a deal thankfully this time he accepted"

The creature looked at the kid that touched him and put his head near mortis and sniffed at him then layed down on the ground and closed his eyes while fatalis put mortis on his back

Kiara's eyes widened a bit when Fatalis vanished and then looked to where he reappeared and placed Mortis on the creature's back. She looked at the creature and frowned. 'I was mad at it for some reason,' she thought to herself and then shook her head and looked up at Fatalis. "What deal was that?" she asked. She had no rememberance of the deal or why she was mad at the creature.

Kiara looked at Xelas, suspicion in her eyes. She saw Xelas shrug and then say, Let me know what you decide Fatalis. I will take my leave now, she said before vanishing from the domain.

"The deal was that taki was to only see you and are children once a year of your own free will if he didn't accept then that creature over there would have killed Lilian" fatalis said as he knelt down and started tickling serenity "I'm guessing that he told you about that deal and that's why you got angry at him do you remember anything before you got mad at him" fatalis asked her and looked up at her while continuing to tickle serenity
